Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 12, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2014 I do have a brand new macmini at my desk im tryng to create a usb install disk from it using myhacks but when i click browse manually i dont know where or what im suppose to be looking for? Do you see if you have 'Install OS X Mavericks' in your application folder? Point the source to that file. What OSX version is it running? If it's 10.9.1 or lower, you can go to to Update and download 10.9.2. After if finished download, it's store in Applications. Don't install the update just yet. Make a copy to your Desktop or anywhere for backup. Launch myHack to create the installer with that as the source.

Darvinko
Presumably, in the applications folder, there should be a "Install OS X Mavericks" application. If so, when running myHack, when it asks for the source, choose "Browse Manually", click on the Applications folder and highlight the "Install OS X Mavericks" and myHack will create your installer using that image.
