Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 5, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 5, 2014 Could possibly be that you didn't run myHack/myfix to update cache and permission everytime you add/remove files from Extra/Extensions. Kexts or files are ignored if they are not in Extra/Extensions, so any files within Extra/Extensions/S.L.E are ignored.
serotizm
That is totally correct I did't run

serotizm
Deleting myHack.kext fixed the issue Maybe it's not working on Yosemite.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 5, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 5, 2014 Sorry, I keep thinking you're installing Mavericks with myHack. Yes, myHack is not Yosemite ready. In that case, you can use some of the files from my bootpack for Yosemite. See the updates under my E7440 guide in my signature below. You can pretty much use all the kexts in /Extra/Extensions. Keep your DSDT/SSDT/smbios/org.chameleon.boot.plist files Install only the files in /Extra/Extensions/SLE to S/L/E with kextwizard. AppleHDA might not work for you, use Voodoo from Herve guide for now. serotizm
No problem. I've fixed the issues. Only bluetooth/wifi remains. Tomorrow I'll buy a supported dongle. Everything's working perfect now. Thank you very very much again. I'll prepare a guide and upload files tomorrow hopefully.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 6, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2014 Better to get a replacement card than a dongle. Sometimes usb won't work after sleep and required unplug and replug to work again.
serotizm
I thought our wifi/bluetooth chips are onboard, am I wrong? If not of course I'll prefer card.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 6, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2014 Nope, it's removable and very easy too. Just remove a few screws to remove the bottom plate and you'll see the card. http://blog.parts-people.com/2014/09/19/dell-latitude-e5440-wireless-wlan-card-removal-and-installation/
