Administrators Hervé Posted April 4, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 4, 2015 Identify your card and patch accordingly if necessary... https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2120-supportedunsupported-wireless-cards-inventory/

Administrators Hervé Posted April 4, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 4, 2015 Which card do you have? Are you sure it's enabled in BIOS and that the left-hand side switch is not on the Off position?

Pack is now fully loaded with all necessary kexts, modules and plists and no post-install EDP is really required for hardware fine tuning.
Alado
Hello, First, sorry for my english ... I'm trying to install ML 10.8.5 on a Dell D430. I have change the wlan Intel card by a Broadcomm BCM94360CS2. To install ML 10.8.5, I follow the thread https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2467-dell-latitude-d430-intel-gma950-ml-with-full-qeci/, and use the Extra D430 ML.zip in the fisrt post. The installation (Phase 1) works fine (except the full qeci of course). The wlan Broadcomm too :- I can pair 1 iPhone with the bluetooth- I can go to internet and the App Store with the wifi But, when i install MLPostFactor (Phase 2), I lose the wlan Broadcomm (no Bluetooth, no Wifi) : no driver install ... And the ethernet port is strange : ML said me it's Wifi !!! and it's works with ethernet Lan like this : i'm writing this post with this configuration !!! How can I do to make the wlan Broadcomm working ? What I have to do ? Which .kext I have to re-install ?? I don't know what to do ... Thank you for help. Sincerely
Administrators Hervé Posted February 22, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 22, 2018 I guess it'll be because the Broadcom & Bluetooth fat-binary kexts from ML DP1 do not support the Broadcom BCM94360CS2 whilst the vanilla 64bit kexts from ML 10.8.5 do... For instance, you'll find 2 x PlugIns of /S/L/E/IO80211Family.kext v5.0 under MLPF'd ML: AirPortBrcm4331.kext (v6.0) AppleAirPortBrcm43224.kext (v5.0) and these don't support any BCM4360 cards (14e4:43a0). Broadcom BCM94360CS2 is supported by AirportBrcm4360 kext and that's an additional PlugIn of the IO80211Family kext of vanilla ML 10.8.5 for instance. It's not present under MLPF'd ML. Little choice but change that card by an older model under 32bit MLPF'd ML, sorry.
