Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 20, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2015 Here. I attached 2 version of DSDT. If DSDT doesn't boot, try DSDT2 E5450_HD5500.zip

dtrb
I replaced config and copied dsdt and ssdt files in patched. The first dsdt turned off the backlight and then had the garbled screen. Second one turned off the backlight and rebooted.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 20, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2015 Launch the config.plist with Clover Configurator. Under Kernel and Kext Patches/KextToPatch, remove that patch.
dtrb
Ok so I did that and it boots with QE/CI but now it's locked up. It also glitches the boot screen before login but still logs in.
