musicthebeeello123
Hi Jake - Can you please patch mine as well. I have attached clover origin zip file. The only difference is my CPU which is i5-4210U (It has HD4400 as well) Your help is greatly appreciated. I have tried to patch myself but the laptop doesnt boot at all. Thanks M Archive.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 5, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2016 Patched DSDT and kexts are found here. No need to repatch DSDT, you just need to generate a different SSDT for your CPU. See Post Install #9 here. SSDTPrGen.sh is attached in Tools at bottom of page. musicthebeeello123
I have tried that. Using DSDT.aml, SSDT-8.aml (from the patch you have provided) and SSDT.aml generated from ssdtgen for i5-4210U but the laptop doesnt boot. It stops right after it loads the ALPSTouchpad driver. Any ideas? I can boot without DSDT.aml but then no CI, no sleep etc.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 5, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2016 HD 4400 wasn't declared in the DSDT, it's declared in my Config file. If you use the Config from the previous link, you should have full QE/CI. Here is the patched files from your system. musicthebeeello123.zip

Administrators Hervé Posted January 16, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 16, 2016 USB are handled differently in El Capitan. Make sure to start by renaming your EHC devices to EHC1/EHC2 in your DSDT for instance.
Ereb_Zx
I have no idea what that mean. Any guide?
