darknumbers
Hi, I have a problem, I upgraded my display to 1920x1080 and updated config.plist, but the fonts look blurred and low when I'm booted in osx for some reason? Do I need some new kext for high resolution fix? Thank you.
Administrators Hervé Posted January 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 7, 2016 No, but you'll need to set DualLink to Yes (or 1). Can be done through DSDT patch or configured as a bootloader (Chameleon/Enoch/Clover) parameter.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2016 Does your model come with only HD 4000 or NVS5200m as well? Does it show you have full QE/CI?
darknumbers
Thanks for helping, I added <key>DualLink</key><integer>0</integer> to Graphics Section as per: http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/Graphics but the screen still look the same, what to do? This model is HD 4000
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2016 You need to change the ig-platform-id in DSDT to 0x04, 0x00, 0x66, 0x01 from 0x03, 0x00, 0x66, 0x01 Use MacIASL to read the file.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 8, 2016 when you replace the Display, did you replace the cable as well? you need a dualLink cable, not sure it comes with the display.
darknumbers
Oh, yeah that's why it's not working then. Thank you
darknumbers
Installed the duallink cable, but now osx won't boot at all, getting a black screen or a circle with a cross even after booting with parmas like -v -x -f, what can be the issue? I enabled duallink in plist file , It boots to osx installer fine, but normal osx fails with circle and cross? update: nvm had to reset bios to fix the problem
