vanquybn
Since the old voodoops2controller.kext no longer working on el capitan 10.11.4/10.11.5 So I took some time to get a new voodoops2controller for my Dell Precision M4800. This is version that merge of ReHabMan, bpedman. It also resolve the issue KP on el captain 10.11.4/10.11.5. Note: the version VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160602.zip need to be put on S/L/E please do not put this on clover or usb. Also try reboot with "-f -v" if you got KP. Update 2016 06 14: add more v7 for E7250/E7450/E5450 Updated version 20160620: supported MacOS Sierra VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160602.zip VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160614.zip VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160616.zip VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160620.zip VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160707.zip VoodooPS2Controller20160825.kext.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 31, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 31, 2016 Does the trackstick scrolling work with this version? I don't think bpedman's version does until sontrg and yeahoon has updated them. If you could fix that version, that would be ultimate.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 1, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2016 I see it's downgraded to version 1.8.3. KP is definitely been avoided even after sleep, however trackstick/trackpad are not working, had to use an external mouse. It shows in Preferences but can't get mouse to work. Perhaps it's missing the v3 variant ID on my E7440 and E6320. Jun 1 10:52:09 localhost kernel[0]: VoodooPS2TouchPad(Base) Version 1.8.3 loaded... Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2016 Confirmed VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160602 is working now on my E7440 and E6230 with 10.11.5!!! Thank you for the update. Are you doing any new development on it? Issue still persist as the previous version before KP with 10.11.4 and up: Sometimes when selecting (single click) acts as double-clicking with the trackstick 2 fingers scrolling on trackpad requires a gap between the 2 fingers (at least side scrolling works) 2 fingers right-clicking also requires a gap, otherwise the cursor just jumps cursor jiggles when finger on trackpad is not moving add v7 ID
winapenny
Hi, Thanks for the effort and confirm that VoodooPS2Controller.kext20160602 also works on my Latitude E7250 excepts I can't do drag&drop actions. Any advices? Winapenny
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 11, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 11, 2016 It doesn't have version 7 added for the E7x50 models. What I also encounter is that the left mouse for the trackstick doesn't allow drag unless the left mouse of the touchpad is use first.
