Benidiktus
Hi Guys, i have install el capitan 10.11.3 and has been update to 10.11.5. Using DSDT from Clover Dell 3340. How can i enable FN+F11 and FN+F12 to adjust brightness screen? another FN key like audio work well. Thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted June 21, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2016 You could only do that through very specific DSDT programming. You can scrounge the Net for it but it's a little complexed. There's a good chance brightness control works through Fn-Ins and Fn-F3. You may also try an app called Karabiner to remap your keys. From memory, it supports Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 21, 2016 I think it has the same keyboard layout as the E7450. See solution here under post install using Karabiner as Hervé said.
Benidiktus
Thanks jake it's work with karabiner and the profile. Is it permanent or i need to setup something to work every startup?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 21, 2016 It'll work once Karabiner is loaded after startup.
