The information out there is confusing and sometimes seems contradictory. Maybe I've double up on custom kexts and clover patches. I don't know. The graphics seem fine. Also WIFI seems to work fine too. My biggest concern is Bluetooth. I've had this same card in a E6540 with some help from Jake Lo and not had issues, so I'm somewhat familiar with it. Before you tell me to read some post, I can tell you I've pretty much read everything and tried about everything. I would appreciate clear instructions. I would prefer clover kext patching over actual customized kexts. Also I'm not sure if I did the audio correctly but I got it working it appears. You can see from my post that I have kext patching in clover's config.plist. Also, I have deleted com.apple.Bluetooth.plist may times too. Thanks anyone who can help. Stolidedog
Oh and I should mention: El Capitan 10.11.5 The bluetooth devices I've tried to connect to will connect to other Hacks I've built as well as my iPhone. Bluetooth works with a GHS2 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter on my machine, but the BCM94352HMB won't Thanks everyone!!! Bob
Stolidedog
A few more things. I'm a software developer by trade mostly Java based. I'm familiar with C type block structure syntax. I'm also familiar with XML, both very well. I don't understand this when it refers to downloading config-bcm94352-... and applying three patches. What three patches are we referring too? Also since the syntax is block structure in the file and my clover config.plist is XML format, how do I paste this in?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 26, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 26, 2016 in the read me on that link you posted it says to click raw to download your second link it should download a clover config plist. you add those settings into your own config plist. the ones stated in the read me file for your hardware. you can use plisteditpro app or Xcode or clover config app to modify your clover config file. Stolidedog
Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize you could load that type of file in Clover config app. I did that and pasted the kext patches, but still no go. It is active, just not discovering. Also if I enable Airport Fix in clover I get a KP on boot up. Oh well, if nobody has any ideas I guess I'll just use the GHS2 USB adapter.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 27, 2016 what is it not detecting the 5 ghz band?
Stolidedog
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean? I think WIFI is fine (maybe I'm wrong), but it show 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and country code US so I assume I'm okay there if that is what you are referring too. Its just that Bluetooth doesn't discover any devices. That's the issue I was trying to sort out.

Stolidedog
I poked around and some other forums and it was said to try the original antenna that came with the MBO. I'm using different antenna I bought on Amazon. I'll see if I can dig up the original antenna tonight and try it and post back the results. Stolidedog
Can't find the original antenna so I ordered a set that should work for WIFI and BT. I'll have it by Wednesday night. I'm pretty sure that what the BT problem is because I tried it again by putting the device right up next to the card as close as I could and it discovered it. No range, but that's not the software, has to be antenna.
