128keaton
Ok, I am booting again, but I do not have sound nor do I have WiFi. EDIT: it rebooted when it went to screensaver/sleep EDIT2: I am an idiot, forgot the BRCM kexts. All is well on the WiFi front.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2016 Did you follow instructions from post #28 Can you post the output after you ran the commands?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2016 Try booting without cache (hit spacebar at Clover and select without cache). Run the commands again and reboot. See if audio is fix then. Did you patch AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext? Shouldn't need to with the DVMT set already.
128keaton
I did patch it a while back, but it didn't work. When I get a working USB drive tomorrow, I plan to nuke this install of OS X and start again. Ok, I cleared the caches, reran all the commands, but I still have no output devices. Good news, WiFi/Bluetooth works, with 5GHz and BLE. We are VERY close to an awesome machine. The little bonus items would be trackpad, volume buttons, etc.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2016 What trackpad does it have ?Synaptics, Elantouch, or Alps? Does the keyboard look like one from my E7470 guide? Use Karabiner and the private.xml to enable brightness and audio control. Run this DPCIManager https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpcimanager/ attach the screenshot of Status and PCI list Also attach sysInfo.
128keaton
Is there any easy way to tell? Also, where do I get 'sys info'? Isn't that a linux thing? I actually have scrolling, no multitouch gestures though. I just setup Karabiner to get what I wanted (brightness and volume), now I need working speakers
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2016 System information (About This Mac). It probably has Alps and no multi touch support at the moment. you should still be able to tab and double click and double tab to drag.
