E7440 - ALC292

Hi All

My Mackintosh (Dell E7440) not sound althoung I install kext by Kext wizard and HVT.

How do I solve this problem?

First off, your signature is wrong...showing E7400 

I guess you didn't follow my guide here, bootpack on post #2 and update files on post #4 for 10.11.4 and up.

What version of OS X are you installing?

Sorry! I has update singed.
Now i fix this problem but i have that problem: i update from 10.11.2 to 10.11.6, when OS boot announce error sandbox deny mach-lookup.
Could u help me solve?

Make sure to update the VoodooPS2Controller linked in the Update section.

In Clover option, add cpus=1 to the boot arg. Once booted, you can replace the kext.

I try all way boot but not. So I install again and set up sound, boot, bluetooth ok.

Only keyboard not ok.

2) installation of the attached ALC292 kext in /L/E (with usual permissions repair and cache rebuild)

3) patching of El Capitan's 10.11.6 vanilla AppleHDA kext (in /S/L/E)

Replace by: 00000000

Find: 8419D411
Replace by: 9202EC120

Find: 8508EC10
Replace by: 00000000

NB: There are 2 x occurrences of each replacement. If required, I attach the patched kext of 10.11.6 (15G1004):

As usual, 'can be configured as on-the-fly patch in Clover config.plist to avoid binmod of the kext file after each update.
