Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 13, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2016 Try booting without cache. Hit the spacebar when you see the Clover GUI. Select boot without cache.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 14, 2016 So you're following the Yosemite guide using Chameleon or using Clover?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 14, 2016 Can't boot the kernel? You mean it won't boot from HDD but only boot with the USB installer? Make sure to install Chameleon to the HDD and copy the /Extra folder to the HDD.
Administrators Hervé Posted October 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 14, 2016 With Chameleon, you need to manually install the Haswell-patched kernel in /S/L/K. Copies of each kernel are available here. If you switch to Enoch, you'll be able to keep the vanilla kernel as long as you set KernelPm parameter to Yes in the kernel.plist file.
