Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 13, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2017 Update it and see if it still works properly. As for DW1830, what kexts and patches are you using? Are wireless /bluetooth showing in System information?
seeker_pl
No kext for DW1830. I'm aware of BrcmFirmwereRepo.kext and brcmPatchRAM.kext for Bluetooth. But Wifi should work anyway. I removed patches from Clover Config. IOBluetoothFamily (handoff 10.11) BMC94532Z NGFF (fvco) Broadcom 5Ghz US system informations: Bluetooth: No information found. seeker_pl
I set Broadcom 5Ghz PL Patch, all kext patches on the screen from CCV, but still no WiFi or Bluetooth. https://ibb.co/iMwjgQ
seeker_pl
Strange, my e7470 seems to be not compatible with DW1830, at least with the one I have. I asked Hervé for help, but he was not able to make it work too. I put now DW1560 to m.2 slot, but still same problem. No Wifi, Bluetooth is working. Latest Bootpack and BIOS installed E7470_BIOSv10.15.4.zip Clover updated to latest version In system Information: I got info about MacBook Pro 13.1 (two thunderbolt ports), why? I had to disable LegacyBoot, when it’s enable Ethernet is not present. Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2017 I see you have Windows installed as dual Boot. Does either wireless work on Windows? Does it even show in the BIOS? I have DW1830 on E7470 and both Bluetooth and Wireless are working.
seeker_pl
Wifi nad bluetooth works fine with Dw1830 and Dw1560, on windows no issues. On mac Only bluetooth is available. To make sure There is no problem with kexts etc. I reinstalled macOS partition after I switched to DW1560. Both card were checked on e7450 and there are no problems. Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2017 Update to the latest BIOS, install DW1830 card, extract the raw file through F4 in Clover. Send me the origin folder and I'll patch them for you to test. Might be some differences in our hardware that make it not work with my DSDT/SSDT. You could test this by following this: Try booting to Clover GUI ->Options ACPI patching -> DSDT name: Change it to BIOS.aml Tables dropping -> Uncheck Drop all OEM SSDT, place check next to all the Drop "SSDT-xx.aml" below it. Return to main menu and boot up OS X. Note: This disables all the patched SSDT/DSDT.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2017 Seems DSDT/SSDT are different with mine and seeker_pl as does Felix Ye (OP). Use alternate bootpack if my bootpack prevents wireless.
Flykai
Hi at all, instead of opening a new thread to the same topic, I hope to get a little bit support here (I think I'm just too silly for Clover...). I followed the guide how to create the USB drive with bootpack, DVMT is set, but everytime I boot into Clover, I don't see the "Install OS X Sierra" drive...just "Start UEFI Shell 64" and the other five standard options, but no boot device. I have the newest BIOS installed, 1.15.04 or something like this, may this be the fault? Ideas are welcome, many thanks!! Flykai Edit: I used already the alternate bootpack, but got the same issue.
