rpapaya
This one is for a 3340m Dell e6230, while I have the 3320m model: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8883-dell-latitude-e6230-with-i5-3340m-hd4000-and-1366x768-lcd-mavericksyosemiteel-capitansierra/ The files for the 3320m are from an older Mavericks guide: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/5641-dell-latitude-e6430-e6230-intel-mavericks/ Basically can the ssdt from the 3320m guide be a "Drop-in" replacement? Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2016 Why use another when you could easily generate your own with the well know script ssdtprgen.sh? https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh
Administrators Hervé Posted December 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 19, 2016 Yes, you can copy the existing SSDT for the i5-3320M and paste ("drop") it in your own installation. Or you can follow the final statement of the 1st guide you referred to and generate your own The latter would have been quicker than the time it took you to pop the question.
