Administrators Hervé Posted December 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2016 1st thing 1st. Which model is it in term of graphics? Intel HD or nVidia? You cannot get full graphics acceleration on this model with 1st gen Intel HD due to unsupported eDP LCD connector type. As such, it's not worth wasting time installing OS X on those models. If you have the nVidia model, great; just make sure to use a patched DSDT where all references to EHCx USB controllers are renamed to EH0x and you install the USB injector kext. juanjo80
Hi, thanks and sorry for the delay, I have intel intel generation, as a single graph. The point is that I installed Yosemite 10.10 (niresh usb) without problems, the graphical section if it is true that does not recognize it, but let me install at least. My question is why El Capitan does not even let me install it? Thanks again and happy new year
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 11, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 11, 2017 Remove from /S/L/E AppleIntelHDGraphics* That should be able to get you to install but without QE/CI
Administrators Hervé Posted January 11, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 11, 2017 Don't waste your time on this model. It uses an eDP connector for the LCD screen and that's not supported on 1st gen Intel HD graphics. As such, the best you can get is partial graphics acceleration which leads to poor system performance.
