Hi @EMlyDinEsH i confirm that this kext and patches also work for Asus S451LB (Vivobook), but the only problem, i can't get the Fn + F2 (Turn Off Wifi) and Fn + F8 (I don't know what this function)

Is this still working on Mojave ? i have asus s451lb and i want to my fn button worked

1) I think the power button in every laptop have a light indicator, right ? So, what i mean of power button indicator is that button to turn off / on the laptop. And power indicator is indicator that usually located at bottom of laptop (usually have an icon like tube). The first case is when click the sleep on apple menu, the power button indicator is still on, and the power indicator (that should be blinking as you say) but its not blinking, its goes off. So i think is something like hang condition, i cant do anything to get my laptop wake except doing the hardboot, i will take a picture and send it later. The next case when my laptop that able to sleep is the display off, the power button indicator off too and the power indicator are blinking. 2) How about my question number two above ? 3) For the command output of 'pmset -g assertions', i'll send it later. Cause i'm still at work now

1. Wait, i found bug here. Sometimes my laptop able to sleep when press the sleep button on apple menu (display off and power indicator off too) but sometimes it wont sleep properly, the display just goes off but the power indicator still on (cant wake with keyboard or any button), so i should doing hardboot.. 2. When i close the lid, it doesnt change anything. I think just display off without power indicator off, but when im opening the lid again then it goes on again

Thanks, now sleep is working now. I have several question about this problem, and please answer all 1. Sleep is working, but why the wake reason still have an output that causing wake ? 2. Which scoope of dsdt that you have been edited, can you give me the detail ? 3. Is it possible to get sleep when we close the lid ?

Of course, you're right @Herve. I saw my friend's laptop with same S451LB and it shows Synaptics. Then is it possible to get working smart gesture up to five fingers ? considering that the drivers I use in windows only reach 3 fingers

try to fix that soon. Now, i cant get sleep, wake, shutdown properly. Sometimes, my laptop only blank the display but the power indicator is on *so i should do hardboot to force sleep/shutdown How about that ?

Thanks, now the hdmi audio works now. So the problem is on my SSDT-10.aml (IGPU) right ? Next question is about : - full speed usb 3 - about brightness, i already installed emuvariable and rc script but it doesnt restore my latest brightness value after restart

@Jake Lo, Yesterday i tried to install High Sierra with DSDT and SSDT from My Friend with same laptop (Asus S451LB) and a few problem is partially fixed, something like : - nvidia has disabled - brightness is can be adjusted from setting > display (but when restart is cannot store value of latest brightness, i have installed emuvariable and rc script). - audio is working, but hdmi audio not - qe/ci working (installing fakepciid from rehabman) - battery indicator is working and about dsdt and ssdt, i want to know what list of patched (dsdt&ssdt) is used to fix the problem and maybe you can help me. anyway, can i send kextcache log with output of command "sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /" instead of following your link above ? If yes i'll send it letter with clover folder too. Thanks

Hello everyone, This is actually great forum, i learn on this forum to get understand about running MacOS on Intel-based system, so i really wonder 'can i do it myself'. And yes, finally i can install MacOs Sierra 10.12.6 on my Asus S451LB (Vivobook). But the problem is i'm not really good to understanding about machine language (ACPI). So i created this post to ask about DSDT and SSDT for my laptop and get the Mac Os running well. How to patch many issue that don't work after install that OS, can anyone explain and help me to patch the dsdt and ssdt effectively, so my laptop can stable to running that OS ? I'm very gratefull. Can you test the mic with software recorder that available on app store ? Please let me know that your'e mic is working normally and can record the sound loudly. Because, my mic is so low to record the sound.
