  1. thank you very much for your help, Jake Lo since I got confused about all the kext flying around and after I read Herves advice, I took everything out just to see from the bottom... now I add your dsdt.aml and then next... the subport.kext was on the hdd efi partition now its only the ssd active. I add this one now ...
  2. new debug file I took everything out what was tried with FBPatcher after a fresh install I didn't touch applehda and id 12 is set no audio when I open clover configurator the screen flickers and turns black for a second i have two drives and at the moment only the Mojave drive is activated. it seems like something is missing from the other efi partition. debug_29408.zip
  3. ok, so far usb works on all ports now as it should. Thank you for the kext file Jake Lo. Audio is still a problem. I generate a config.plist file for my audio system with the FBPatcher but then I am lost. I am supposed to overwrite my good old config plist with the new one. But then I can't boot up my system anymore. Or what am I missing here? It sounds like everything is more easily or to easy to could to be true. Can I this new config.plist file from the FBPatcher merge with my current config.plist?
  4. Well, unfortunate it doesn't work with your USBInjector.kext. I need to know now how to build one for the e6540 and similar. Perhaps it will work and others can use it as well then.
  5. Thank you for your replay. I couldn't figure out why my ethernet connection was unstable. So I backed up my files and tried to update to 10.14.2 . The direct update went wrong. Then I wanted a clean install onto my ssd and discovered a weird problem. The installer in the second phase can't find the install files and want a restart. Doesn't matter how I generate the setup usb stick. So now I am still on 10.13.3 on a HDD and wonder why its impossible to install Mojave on a second SSD. The HDD is the first drive and the SSD is a m.2 in a pcie slot. Worked well so far but with 10.14.2 something changed. Could it help to exchange the HDD for a SSD? I would like to keep a working system as backup.
  6. dumpfile as requested: Thank you for your effort!
  7. Hello again after I tried this: Remove from /L/E FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext Restore a vanilla AppleHDA.kext to /S/L/E Replace DSDT and Config file from attachment Remove USBInjectAll.kext and replace it with the attached kext Repair permissions and rebuild cache AudioFix.zip nothing changed so far, at least no audio came back to life the usb part works
  8. the output from ioreg is very long , sure I can post it in here? but here is my clover folder

  10. Hello ok, the sound part doesn't work with 12 or 18. I discovered that since 10.14.1 the USB port won't work as before. I only get one working port. Whats different to 10.14? Everything worked fine there. Audio is gone Ethernet is still unstable USB is not fully there But BT is working, but not usb. WIFI works too... Before I mess around I am backing up the system
  11. well, after I updated all kexts and changed ids , sound is not working. I tried 1,2,3 and 12,13,15 nothing. Ethernet looks stable. Because I have 2 drives, this problem generator script always looks up my first efi partition but should scan and save onto my second drive. But I don't know how to get that done.
  12. How do i Extrakt the right log for this problem to see what's wrong?
  13. Hello there I changed the id to 12 , no change the last version of the ethernet driver also doesn't help,.
  14. Hello there after I updated to 10.14.1 i don't have any sound and weirdly i get a wonky ethernet connection. The Ethernet lamp in the network configuration changes from green to red and back. Several times a minute. I am wondering what this is causing this now. Via wifi its stable but not through the ethernet port. My config didn't change since last time a updated and managed to get sound due your helping hand. CLOVER.zip
  15. here is my efi folder. Of course it could be more optimized but i am glad the rig runs like it should for now. Even metal runs with hd4600. I took some unnecessary stuff out. I read somewhere that whatevergreen isnt necessary in 10.14 anymore. is this true? i just could disable it in the clover boot menu but i would like to know the hole story first. Not that i end up with a black screen and dont know why. In 10.13.6 the sound works even without applealc.kext in clover. So far ...
  16. this enabled sound on my dell latitude e6540 after trying around quite sometime. Thank you very much Sir! Mojave on SSD performs extremly well on this laptop. Later this day i upload my efi folder just in case. Perhaps it helps someone. But now i need some sleep
  17. the system rejects the kext because of improper filesystem permissions, though I use the permission commands the repair them Kext rejected due to improper filesystem permissions: <OSKext 0x7fa4f9070460 [0x7fff9026d980]> { URL = "AppleHDA_ALC292.kext/ -- file:///System/Library/Extensions/", ID = "com.apple.driver.AppleHDA" }
  18. i am using the AppleHDA_ALC from the guide and it looks like there is something missing somewhere...
  19. Thank you jpz4085 I did that and did a restart. Something is still screwed. The AppleHDA.kext won't get loaded.... It also should show the Bluetooth part of my Broadcom Card in the USB tree. At least it did when I was playing with 10.13.1. The Webcam is working and visible in the USB tree.
  20. Ok I changed what you mentioned to 1. changed to 11.1 to 2. looks like I messed it up while I was trying some different kexts to 3. I added the dummy ALC292 kext while I was setting up after the main guide and changed it while I was trying the voodoo audio kext I added Rehabman's FakePCIID_XHCI_mux kext and Rehabman's FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_audio kext this first config.plist is the original one plus all the changes I made so far.... debug_20288.zip
  21. Hello there I am trying to get my Dell Laptop run with High Sierra. After countless fresh installs with different setups its working kind off. Because I got graphics acceleration with my Intel HD 4600 under 10.13.1 with no hassle, I thought its kind of oob. But whatever I try nothing works. I read all the time about this DSTS stuff. What is it? I hope I attached the right debug.zip Thank you for your time and work. Danny debug_24093.zip
