I have my Gigabyte G5-KC installed macOS Ventura 13.5 and it's worked normally, but I have issue with my AC Adapter. Battery percentage still reported correctly, but when I plugged AC into laptop, battery status reported "Power Source: Battery" And I unplugged AC, battery status reported "Power Source: Battery" but percentage not reported correctly anymore, it freeze at level same as level when I plugged. For example, my battery shown 85%, then I plugged AC, battery logo still show "Power Source: Battery", and I unplugged AC, it freeze at 85% and no change. I found that when I disabled all VoodooI2C's kext, its could touch but cannot move or 'click' mouse everywhere in screen. And when I restarted with VoodooI2C enable, only trackpad worked. Even though I added USB HID Patch in E7270 OC config, touchscreen still not happened.

I have installed Ventura (13.4.1) on Latitude 7390 (not 2-in-1 version) and it worked well expected touchscreen. I already: - mapped USB - tried to patch TPL1 and TPD1 device in DSDT - used all VoodooI2C's kext relevant but all of them only make my trackpad worked, not touchscreen. There are images about SiW (Siliconworks) HID Touchscreen (It used USB protocol) and its IOReg: . This is my EFI: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z4nqtrR6qPXd51w20Uobuuk4iaxg-hcW/view?usp=share_link All your help will be appriciated. Please help me this.

Just a pre-built EFI for people who don't have much time and I just want to share with everyone

I have built this EFI and I would confirm this will work on other Dell E5x70/7x70 Skylake based system. Specifically: E5450, E5570 (I owned this laptop and it worked well), E7270, E7470 Bootloader I used: OpenCore 0.8.2 with lastest kext. I have Dell Inspiron 5448 with bootloader is OpenCore (0.7.9) and macOS Big Sur (11.6) installed. After adding VoodooI2C's kext, it shows this code (Image attached) for 5-10s and return back OC Picker. I have removed VoodooI2C but still nothing happen, tried to create clean EFI (just Lilu, WEG, itlwm, VoodooPS2 and used prebuilt SSDT from Dortania) but no success, so I decided to use Clover. Also, trackpad is not working in both OC and Clover, anyone can help me this? SSDT-XOSI.aml has been set from Windows 2012 to Windows 2015. Trackpad still cannot be controlled. Any idea?

shutdown solved with clover. Remain I2C problem left
-
I have converted from OpenCore to Clover due to shutdown issue (Fan still running, I need to force power-off.) and I have this problem: I2C TouchPad stop working. I2C TouchPad in OpenCore is working well. I tried to re-patch but no success. Now I'm using ApplePS2SmartTouchPad without gesture. Anyone can help me patch this? 3542 Clover.zip

I have tried new VoodooPS2 from Release version 1.0.5 All trackpad and keyboard stop working although kext is loaded. I'm using Dell Latitude E5570 (macOS 12.1) with v8

My Dell Latitude E5570 Specification: i3-6100U with 16G DDR4 Intel HD Graphics 520 I219 Ethernet + Intel AC 8260 Audio Codec: ALC293 Storage: Kingston M2 256GB Supported both 2 types of bootloader: OpenCore 0.7.6 + Clover r5143 Almost all devices are working, except trackpad gesture. If you want to try new VoodooPS2 (Because this laptop used ALPS version 8), check here: https://github.com/SkyrilHD/VoodooPS2-ALPS/actions/runs/1671975290 (Click the artifacts.zip to download, extract them and put them into C/K/O or OC/K) Issue: Clock is wrong after sleeping (Eg. when your hack sleep at 10:30 and you leave it for 30 minutes to 11:00, you wake your hack and clock still 10:30) Flickering screen when your screen is 1920x1080 after sleep. Link EFI: https://github.com/quynkk1/E5570-Hackintosh Note: Before install macOS: - Add your wireless and bluetooth kernel extensions (If you use OpenCore, you need to SNAPSHOT or MANUALLY ADD your kexts) After install macOS: - Move EFI from USB into Hard Drive - Map your USB - Make test and post your result here

Yes. You can use OpenCore Configurator instead of ProperTree. Place VoodooI2C.kext and VoodooI2CHID.kext, make a clean snapshot but DISABLE THIS KEXT VoodooI2C.kext/Contents/Plugin/VoodooInput.kext Otherwise, you can follow Olarila I2C Patch Tutorial: https://www.olarila.com/topic/5644-enable-i2c-trackpad-voodooi2c-not-a-guide-not-really/ and, did you try my EFI on Dell 3390 :D? -

Remove VooodooI2C.kext and VoodooI2CHID.kext Re-snapshot your config and reset NVRAM before booting. Or using this updated EFI: - Dell E7490: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmHnQsJK7vXsiVxAsbUX-ZV0l3BJ?e=O0K3XP - Dell 3390: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmHnQsJK7vXsiVt-XJuLs4afWwxR?e=SUiKiq -

hmm... How can I patch these key via SSDT or DSDT? I read a post about this and they said: "0x01xx: standard PS2 codes... make/break separate 0x02xx: extended PS2 codes (e0)... make/break separate 0x03xx: standard PS2 codes... make/break combined (eg. make and break are sent with only a single notify) 0x04xx: extended PS2 codes (e0)... make/break combined"

I have dell latitude e5540 which works for 95% but I have some issue about keyboard: - Fn+F3 (Scroll Lock) = Decrease Brightness, which mapped to FN+DOWNKEY. I want to disable this key. in Console.app it shows 46=6b - Fn+Insert = Increase brightness, which mapped to FN+UPKEY. I want to disable this key as Fn+F3 in Console.app it shows e045=71 - Fn+F5 (Toggle Trackpad), I haven't mapped this key, but when I pressed this key, it only shown: ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key e01e=80 down - Fn+Home & Fn+End = Trackpad Toggle, I want its mapped to Fn+F5, and FN+End=Capture Screen in console.app it shows: Fn+Home: ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key e037=0, 0=80 up/down Fn+End: same as Fn+Home Fn+Insert: ApplePS2Keyboard: sending key e045=71 up/down And my keyboard always generate ApplePS2Keyboard in Console.app although I disabled via ioio My EFI: https://github.com/quynkk5/E5540-Hackintosh (In release tab)
