clarification - I just assumed sleep as from my research, sleep is the default and I don't remember ever changing any settings relating to sleep.

I haven't changed anything, so I'd assume it's the default, which from my research, is sleep.

Oh, yeah I just checked the main branch as I assumed thats what you were checking, looked at the releases and yup, I accidentally attached the EFI for my E6530 there, thanks for making me aware of that! I just replaced it with the correct EFI.

I checked, I did attach the correct EFI, it applies to a Kaby Lake/HD 630 system, with an iMac18,1 SMBIOS, did you maybe have another tab open and clicked on the wrong thing? Maybe it was a weird GitHub bug? idk.

My Acer Aspire TC-780 running Ventura is kernel panicking whenever it wakes from sleep. Does anyone know how to fix this? Panic log and EFI is attached. update - solved, i had to patch connector types

I have an Acer Aspire TC-780, I've tried to hackintosh it on both Monterey and Ventura, however after the verbose on both of them, my screen just goes to no signal. On Monterey, I tried using the "-igfxvesa" bootarg to force it to use VESA mode, which did allow the system to boot and for me to install macOS, but obviously, I don't want to use macOS with no GPU accel. Anyone know how I can fix this? Preferably I want to fix it on Monterey since that is what's currently installed on the HDD. My EFI is attached. EFI.7z

update - managed to fix, i just forgot to put in USBToolbox.kext, but i'm having another problem now. will make another post

I got my hands on an Aspire TC-780 recently, trying to hackintosh it on Ventura, it goes into a loop of several lines, the final line of the loop being "AbortCommands : :5382:Port 3 - called, deviceWithError 0, errCode = 0xe0030005". Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? My EFI is attached. EFI.7z

ECEnabler does not work, and doesn't address the sleeping problem.

The patched SSDT you linked to in that EFI not only didn't solve the issue, but it actually broke the SSDT entirely, both sleeping by closing the lid and battery percentage stopped working. Honestly, I just want to move away from that SSDT entirely, I don't think there's any hope of patching it to work properly with Windows 8.1 and surely it's functionality can be recreated just with 2 SSDTs that fix the sleeping issue and the other that fixes the battery issue. Nope, that SSDT doesn't work either. Same ACPI_BIOS_ERROR when going into Windows. I'm still on 8.1 since Windows is installed on the laptop's HDD, and modern builds of Windows 10 are basically unusable on an HDD.

The name was only just because I had it stored on a folder that had the original SSDT-840G3, I gave it that name temporarily then renamed it when putting it into my EFI. Turns out I misclicked and didn't copy it the first time, After copying it again and resetting NVRAM, it's still causing problems, Windows still won't boot from OpenCore, however now instead of loading forever, pretty much the second Windows starts loading I get an ACPI_BIOS_ERROR BSOD. I'm assuming there's just something with the Darwin check that only Windows 10 and 11 know how to handle, and it's causing 8.1 to still freak out.

I have an HP Elitebook 840 G3, hackintoshed on 13.3.1 Ventura, and for my battery percentage and being able to close the lid for sleep, I am relying on SSDT-840G3, however this SSDT is causing me issues. Basically, I can't boot into my Windows 8.1 dualboot from OpenCore if I have this SSDT enabled, it'll just sit there on the loading screen forever, I have to either disable the SSDT, or boot into Windows from the F9 boot menu. How can I fix these without SSDT-840G3, or can that SSDT be patched so it doesn't load into Windows? Thanks in advance! SSDT-840G3.aml.zip

My E6530 is running Big Sur 11.7.5 with OpenCore 0.9.0, the SD card reader isn't working. I know the SD Card reader is made by O2Micro in my specific E6530. Is it possible to use the E6530's O2Micro SD card reader in macOS?

Correct, I am using an iGPU only model. Adding SSDT-GPRW + patch now allows the laptop to sleep properly, however upon waking from sleep it locks up the second the screen turns on.

On my Dell Latitude E6530, sleep mode is not working, if I enter sleep from pressing sleep on the menu bar, it'll wake up after a second, and it'll work fine, if I put it to sleep by closing the lid, it'll do the same (wake up after a second), however the screen will not turn on and I'll have to reboot the laptop.
