Hi Syonagar perhaps i did not quit wrote down my problem..So i think there is an misunderstanding... I cannot startup from the usb stick while trying to install ML 10.8 dmg.. When i boot from the usb stick I created with Myhack 3.1 and the EXTRA file for my D630 laptop then I see a couple of flashes on my USB stick and that 's it.. Or do you mean that i must add the appleacpiplatform.kext into the ML.dmg with I will use for before installing ML on my D630 intel laptop? Greets..

Hi, i just created an Myhack 3.1 usb stick with ML 10.8 DP3 installed on it and the extra package for my D630 with intel 3100 video card. When i boot up the laptop I seen in the beginning some flashing on the usb stick and that's it no more happens.. Any Idea? i connected an external usb keyboard and mouse on it and also an external screen , In the past i installed lion 10.7 with this combination perfectly. I read in the forum about the intel video card - is this the course also with my configuration? greetings fron holland..

I disabled wireless and internal network card and boot up the laptop with -x -v the same KP shows up.. ?? is there an specific install guide for my d630 I have seen several manuals and extra files and so on . What and where can i pickup the correct one?

Hi . i have an D630 with an intel945gm video card and i want to install lion from scratch with help from an usb drive were lion is installed to. I installed edp 2.2 on the usb drive and copied an extra file in the root and repaired the permission on the usb drive, When i boot up de laptop in instantly see an KP with the message: unable to find the driver for this platform \ACPI\ and so on. i do not have anything installed on the HD. i tried several boot cd reinstalled the usb on different ways , no luck i am an mac newbie , Can some tell me what to do exactly to get lion installed on my D630.. Help will be thankfull.

Hi, i have an small request, I have lion 10.7.2. fully working and stable working on my D430 1,3 ghz laptop thanks to the good manuals and tips written on this site. one thing i cannot get working and is the internal network card type Broadcom. what and how can i get this internal network card working?

a. Model (eg. D630-nvidia) : Latitude D430 1.3 GHZ b. Do you use nullcpu (yes/no) ? : yes c. Do you use sleepenabler (yes/no) ? : yes d. What of the 4 provided PS2 packs do you use (1,2,3,4 or other) ?: 2 e. Do you use emulated speedstep ? (yes/no): yes f. Do you use voodooTSC to sync your cores ? (yes/no) : No g. Do you use AppleHDADisabler ? : No h. Are you stuck/forced to use a specific version of chameleon ? : using now chameleon v2.1 svn1547 9 [it works] i. Do you use a custom kernel ? No With remarks, I use the usb stick and EDP2.2 version to install it on my D430 but i get KP about the voodoo ps/2 ??? would like ti known what i am doing wrong?? is there somewhere an manual about an correct and stable installation ? like to hear it from someone..

Zeppo first thank for the reply. the solution of the broadcom is not for the internal network card , not the wireless card, I have an usb wireless card wich works so no problem. The brightnes of the screen is increased after i excuted step 8 of the EDP installer But i cannot startup the laptop normally after that ?? i have to user the parameter -x and then he boot up until the desktop.. ?? do you have an explanation for this behavior?? Other thing is i installed ILIFE-11 on the laptop for working with Xmovie. This worked but after the adjustment off the screen brightness Xmovie says to use an quartz extreme card ??? It worked before the adjustment Can I fix this? many thanks

Hi, i installed successfully lion 10.7 + 10.7.2 on my D430 1,3 GhZ 2GB memoru 80GB HD intel GMA videocard laptop, Most of the hardware is working but i need help with installing next for internal broadcom network card and an fix for my video card because i noticed that the brightness of my laptop screen is poor and needs to increased. Sound is working. other tips are more than welcome to.. who can help me out??

Hi thanks for the reply, this is my actual state i have installed SL 10.6.3 and updates snow leopard to 10.6.8 with all hardware working. Then instal lion with help of the manual described at the forum making use of the EXTRA folder an USB stick Lion.DMG, xfail and chameleon 2.1.svnr1662.pkg. and EDP2.1 pkg. The install succeeded with no problems... BUT when i boot the laptop with no usb stick attached an black screen is shown and nothing else.. When i choose in the startup lion usb instead of the installation procedure is starting all over again.. When i choose boot Lion and let the usb stick into the usb slot the laptop is booting up but i cannot see the hard drive with Lion installed in FINDER , only when i look in to diskutil i see the Lion hard drive... with this option i have no sound no networkcard working.. Can you tell me exactly what must i do to boot with my hard drive and what and where must i install the????? EDP 2.1 , KEXT and give me more brightness on the laptop screen thanx in advance.. sorry for this weird question but i am an newbie in the MAC environment..

Hi i checked my CPU and it an Intel Core Duo 2 cpu 1,66 GHZ installed memory 3GB and at the moment running on SL 10.6.8 fully working , Whay must I do to install the extra folder on the usb stick?

ERROR 2: WORKPATH is set to /Volumes/OS X USB install/Extra, it should be /Extra, make sure that you ran edptool.command from /Extra What i am doing wrong ( sorry i am an newbie and familiar with mac can you help me out?
