Confirming iMessage works with Clover boot loader on 10.10.5, Macbook Air 5,2 SMBios Also have VGA and DisplayPort working (no audio). Audio works, trackpad uses bar on side for scrolling, not a fan of the two finger scrolling on our trackpads (buggy), WiFi works with DW1520 out of the box. Everything works except for sleep mode and DP audio.

Okay, after doing the install, running post install, audio failing, installed VoodooHDA from the E6410 Y folder, enabling HDAEnabler in Chameleon Wizard, I still get an APCI kernel panic. So, boot in -f, removed VoodooHDA and HDAEnabler boot option, touched the perms folder, I still get an APCI kernel panic. Now I'm going to try the solution on Page 2/3 of this thread. Will update progress. Any other ideas, please comment. EDIT: Solved my issue by running PostInstall script again. Interesting.

Dunno, tried the latest one in the E6410 Y zip from patel. EDIT: Boots fine on -f -v. Testing.

It was working great, but it couldn't find VoodooHDA.kext during post-install. Said I'd deal with it later. Installed it, rebooted, Audio still didn't work. Enabled HDAEnabler in Chameleon Wizard. Rebooted. Now I have an APCI Kernel Panic again. What gives?

Using DiskMaker X 4b4 instead of version 5 fixed my issue. Sorry everyone!

I did use DiskMaker v5 instead of v4. That's the only thing I changed in the guide by patel. I'll give it another shot. Maybe I'll try the one in the folder this time.

There's... Nothing in S/L/E at all except for VoodooHDA.kext in S/L/E/Contents/MacOS

I'm assuming you mean when you run the pre-install script. Otherwise, it's not described. I followed his guide step by step 3 times now, same issue. "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@[...]" Using legacy boot mode for now.

Create the USB with the 10.8.0 folder. Then it will ask to install extras. Use the 10.8.4 folder as the extra folder. It'll boot.

[ PCI Configuration Begin ] error... any ideas? 10.8.4 Fixed. What I did was redo the USB, and do the same thing roar2000 suggested, but with the 10.8.4 ML folder. Now to find those wireless kexts...

It doesn't ask for an extra folder at the end of the install it just says failed...

Yep, I totally forgot to do that, my fault. It's the same error as on page 6, [ PCI configuration begin ]. -v -f doesn't work. -v npci=0x2000 doesn't work. about to try 0x3000 and PCIRootUID=1 before both 0x's. Then I'll try PCIRootUID=0. FAILED^ I installed Mountain Lion, then it failed, then I installed the 10.8.4 Extras from the folder I dragged onto the flash drive after touching perms from copying S/L/E from the 10.8.4 folder and the two IO fixes from that folder. I'm booting the partition via the USB bootloader. Could that be the problem somehow? Was I supposed to install Chameleon during setup?

Still stuck on apple logo for about 40 minutes... I used the 10.8.4 zip and IO patches for 10.8.4 to create the usb. Is that correct? The installation said it failed.

I'm getting a boot0 error... any ideas?

I'm doing a clean install, and I have 10.8.4 on my working hackintosh. I used that and the 10.8.4 pack instead of the standard E6410 pack/zip. Is that the correct thing to do? Do I also need to put the IO kexts that are posted as a fix in the edit to the install USB? Or am I going at this completely incorrectly?
