  1. Pluto does your iMessage work? Mine seems to be not working anymore. Just recognized it. It did work work yesterday.
  2. (Think) I found the issue. After the update the dart=0 flag was gone... why and however. Now it works... without having changed anything else.
  3. Hi Pluto, did also an Update through AppStore but running in KP now if I don't do safe boot. KP is TouchPad related. Also using Clover. Any hints?
  4. Hey guys. I managed the issue with ACPI in another way. I found a config.plist file for another Dell Laptop and got beyond the ACPI KP with it. All I had to do then was inject Nvidia and voila... Now I have a working Yosemite with Clover and much more important a otb working iMessage. I love Clover... now! I have still issues with sound. I can't adjust the volume. Any news regarding this issue?
  5. I begin to hate Clover... though I liked the Cloverfield movie Pluto I tried your smbios thing I think, am not sure if I did it correct... (Can you maybe upload your working Clover config.plist file) and I tried your removals patel, removed AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext from /S/L/E and put the AppleACPIPlatform.kext from your ZIP in /E/C/K/10.10 Still ACPI stops like seen in the attached image:
  6. Which entries do I exactly need to change. I try to boot a USB Installer stick with Clover.
  7. Hey PlutoDelic You seem to use Clover. Can you help me out?
  8. Yo Patel. As you know, have working Yosemite on my E6410 with Chameleon. But I want to test Clover. I played around a little bit with it but I can't get further than a KP "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu....." Kexts like FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement are placed in 10.10 Folder... Do you have any hints or advices for me?
  9. Yo patel4prez. Yes I do! By the way, the last I did regarding sound was to install the latest pkg from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/files/
  10. Yo... had managed to update directly from from 10.9.5 with working sound to Yosemite before you brought your guide. My sound is working. Not for 100% (e.g. i can't adjust the volume) but it is working.
  11. I used this one (I think)! http://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/files/VoodooHDA_V286_MAV.pkg.zip/download
  12. I did. Working without any issues. After the last updates, I always had to delete AppleHDA.kext from S/L/E and run myfix to get sound working again but this time I didn't need it. Maybe thats because I had installed newest VoodooHDA from their site in the time between 10.9.4 and 10.9.5.
  13. Did you call the hotline? I spent 4 days reading howto's and trying to fix iMessage and FaceTime. Then I called the hotline, as iMessage suggests, and it took 5 minutes and everything was working! But AppStore and iCloud were working out of the box though...
  14. Call the Support Hotline of Apple. Answer their questions. If they cant find your SN, dont worry. Tell them you bought your MAC from eBay. They'll make your iMessage work again. Did that a week ago. Took 3 minutes!
  15. So, well done, or, starting this thread? Of course I saw the E6400 thread, but it is E6400, not E6410!
  16. Thanks for the advice! Where can I find the Yosemite Topic for E6410? I couldn't find one. A link would have been nice.
  17. Hi guys, has anyone managed to get Yosemite on an E6410?
  18. Yo Bronxteck! Thanks for this hint... with this flag it boots with VT enabled, but what does the flag do? If it disables VT software side, it does not make sense to enable it in BIOS. Ok... after using Google I found this: dart=0 | 1 Enables or disables extended memory mapping [Default 0] Is this good or not so good? And if it is 0 default, why does it not boot without the flag?
  19. OK! Solved the sound issue by deleting AppleHDA.kext from S/L/E and running myfix.
  20. by the way... since I am able to boot normally to 10.9.2, I recognized that my sound stopped working... any suggestions how to solve that?
  21. For installation of 10.9.0 and for normal booting it had to be disabled. Then I installed Virtualbox and my guest systems needed it to be enabled. Then I enabled it, just for fun, though I thought it won't boot then, but it did. After an update to 10.9.1 still booted. Since the update to 10.9.2 I have to disable that option again, to get Mavericks boot normally. But it would be nice, if I could use that option again.
  22. Hey guys just found the reason why it didn`t boot. I had to disable VT for direct IO in bios. But... I knew, on my first Installation of OS X ever, I had to disable that to get it working properly. Then, I installed Virtualbox and XP as guest OS which needed that VT for direct IO function. So just for fun I enabled it, and kind of wondered why the system booted with that function enabled. Now, after the update to 10.9.2 it has to be disabled again. Do you guys have an idea what allowed that function to be enabled, so I could do that again and use it for Virtualbox?
  23. Where can I get the fakesmc.kext from ?
  24. Hi guys! I already asked that in another thread but nobody seems to check that one. I had a flawless working E6410 with 10.9.0 and did an update to 10.9.1 via AppStore without any issues. So I did to 10.9.2 too, but since then I get the KP on normal boot. I can boot to safe mode but anything else gets me to the KP. Anyone any suggestions? I would appreciate!
