If the VoodooPS2 prefpane corrupts your system settings, it is because the install script removes the trackpad.prefpane from /System/Library . Apparently System settings does not like that. To repair just reinstall the trackpad prefpane from the 10.6.6 update (using pacifist). Another possibility might be to rename VoodoPS2.pefpane to trackpad.prefpane ? but i didn't try that yet. For the rest EDP works smooooth!!

So you mean to drop the dsdt from the EDP then ? I don't think that is really an option in general. Anyway it leaves the com.apple.Boot.plist. I don't know a reason why not change the case in the EDP.

Well I did use case sens. and the only issue was a renaming of dsdt.aml to DSDT.aml and com.apple.boot.plist to the same with Boot. For the rest no problems till now. (D630)

It might be because of the case sensitive filesystem, but it took me some time to figure out that the bootloader i had installed was looking for DSDT.aml and not dsdt.aml. It didn't help setting it in the com.apple.boot.plist, since that had to be changed to com.apple.Boot.plist. Perhaps it would be better to have the cases right from the start if possible.
