  1. If it is indeed V3, it supports up to 3 but not 4 fingers I think. Windows could show you that, but also, ApplePS2smart booting on verbose will tell you which Elan model it is. (I don't know if Voodoo will do that as well) It is normal that my version of the .plist does not work fine for you : different hardware. it might be close (is it an ivy bridge laptop ?) but most of the time the hardware is different on Thinkpads vs non-pro Lenovo models. 2f scrolling is quite okay for me. I would say better than with windows, but I haven't used windows on this laptop for months, maybe years. 3 fingers gestures work fine, but I will probably try to lower the resolution because detection isn't perfect. (not much room for 3 fingers on this trackpad, that's why). I don't really care for the rest of gestures tbh
  2. Here you are ! What is your hardware ? 2F Scrolling is set at max speed in the accessibility prefpane and I lowered the resolution a bit because my trackpad is small. VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip
  3. Hi everyone, and lotttsss of thanks to @Bandysc for your work ! I've been using and tweaking ApplePS2SmartTouchpad for hours, during years to work with my Elan V3 Hardware in my Thinkpad L530. Your kext freshly installed works better (not just the real gestures, mostly pointing and scrolling) , and even better after some tweaking of the info.plist inside of the trackpad kext, it's way above any of my expectations for this shitty hardware. I'll have access to another hackintosh with some elan hardware, if you need some help for testing I would gladly help.
  4. Hi everyone, same issue here ! On Thinkpads we have 2 pointing devices : Trackpad + trackpoint in the middle of the keyboard. (more easy to figure with this picture maybe) The only issue I have while using your kext is that if I touch the Trackpoint, Elan trackpad driver crashes and I have to reboot. I guess this is what demonKnight9 is talking about. It would be great to be able to use that Trackpoint without crash or to disable it, in order to avoid hitting it by accident while typing on the keyboard. I think that it is due to both devices not working the same way... I'm willing to do beta testa in order to fix this if you have the time to. Thanks and sorry for the english !
  5. @EmlyDinEsh thanks for your kext ! It is the most functionnal thing I ran on my hackintosh. I'm running Mavericks 10.9.5 on a Lenovo L530 Laptop. My tracking device is shown on windows as a "Thinkpad Ultranav pointing device", manufactured by Elan. I've seen some old "ThinkpadUltraNav" kexts on several forums, but all of them are for previous versions of OSX and don't work for me ! (no mouse at all, sometimes no boot at all !) I'm using v4.0.5, it is working fine, some minors bug and it stops to work sometimes, for instance after sleep. The only thing bothering me a bit is that if I touch the trackpoint device (You know, that red think that exists since the first IBM laptops), the trackpad stops functionning. Is there a way at least to disable the trackpoint or to make it work ?
