  1. So i have partitioned my hard drive to ms-dos using disk utility, booted from a windows flash drive and when in clover screen i select cdboot which doesnt work then i try mgr boot which just hangs. If i try to boot windows with legacy it works, what could i possibly doing wrong. My Specs: Dell Latitude E5440 Intel i5 4300U 8GB 500 HDD Intel HD 4400
  2. It kinda works? The screen blacks out but after trying multiple times i got the display brightness to work. Is the anything i should do to prevent this and fix booting without the usb.
  3. I have 2 ram slots and they're both occupied with 4GB in each slot. I have attached my clover backup from my usb before i replaced the folder with the new one (how could my efi partition on my usb not work?) I have also attached the new clover (which is on my usb currently) for you to check if I'm doing anything wrong. CLOVER.zip Clover Backup.zip
  4. Still not working. Its stuck on the apple logo then shows the no entry like symbol
  5. Where do i place the file because when i mount on windows i only see 2 folders, Boot & Microsoft
  6. Oh and i just remembered that there are 2 optiofix files in there which should i copy over to my usb.
  7. Mounted the iso, but my usb installer wont pick up on this windows 7 Edit: Why should my laptop suddenly stop booting when i simply just installed a driver. Ive installed drivers in the past and have never run into this issue
  8. Im using windows 7. the file in #5 is not an iso but a tar file, is that the right file
  9. Do i put in on a new usb or the one that has my installer Edit: also how do i mount it on windows (long time use the os)
  10. I dont understand how you did not undetstand my issue. I cannot boot into my laptop.
  11. Dell E5440 Core i5 Intel HD 4400 500HDD So after i installed this driver it needed a restart, after doing so i get a crossed off symbol. I tried booting without caches but i get an error shown below.
  12. Wow that actually worked, thank you so much. It was very hard for me to see since i was using my phones flashlight, i also changed the brightness using the light and that worked. I really dont think i changed the brightness settings so i dont know how this happened. Thanks again for this great community for helping me out once again
  13. I dont think so. I removed everything and i still have the same issue. I only use the usb to check the laptops on and that the screen is the issue, i use ethernet most of the time. Plus i dont think my laptop should be sleeping at an early stage where the laptops just starting to boot up.
  14. The internal screen, i dont use an external display. The reason i say the screen blacks out is because my laptop is still on and the screen just turns off, i can tell my laptop is still on because i have a usb wifi attached and the led lights flickers meaning the laptop is on.
  15. ?????? Any reason why this is even happening after a reinstall of the OS
  16. Oh my bad. So this time i boot without caches and i still have the problem where the screen turns off I didnt turn off my laptop since last night and i didnt change any settings so i dont know why this is happening
  17. Booted into safe mode about half an hour ago and its still loading, is this normal taking so long to boot?
