  1. I didn't see any microphone patches in the plist but I did set HalfMicVolume to true.
  2. Is there a way to get the microphone working on my laptop? I have VoodooHDA installed because I won't have a working speaker without it, but my microphone doesn't work. Version: 10.12.6 Vanilla Processor: i3-2328m Graphics: Intel HD 3000 Graphics 384mb RAM: 6GB DDR3 1067MHz HDD: 500GB 7200RPM HGST Speakers: Cirrus Logic (taken from dell page)
  3. it turns out there was a second voodoops2controller. please ban me i feel sorry for being stupid.
  4. I download the kext and use Kext Wizard to install it. It's how I've installed kexts since my first hackintosh.
  5. Didn't work and made my keyboard not work. I might just downgrade to EC or Mavericks.

  7. Yes. When I was on Mavericks, I used the ALPS touchpad kext and it worked perfectly. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
  8. This didnt work and it made my keyboard not work
  9. Alright everything is working much better. Now to get two finger scrolling.
  10. I did this and things are still kinda freezing up too much. On a second note, I installed it on another drive partition and it looks to be doing better and not freezing. So I'm just gonna migrate my applications and report back to if everything goes to shit or not.
  11. Yes, I used RehabMan's brightness and HD 3000 DSDT patches but I don't think they did anything.
