Ok, after another reboot the artifacts are gone and I also could fix the 2nd problem. Seems I mixed up config.plists. Currently I'm trying to fix following issues: HDMI audio output Bluetooth DW380 is not recognized by os (using BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext)

Hi, I have installed Sierra on my E643 following Jake Lo's guide, but unfortunately I habe problem with steps from post-installation section. 1. Graphics artefact in middle of the booting process (I already downgraded the BIOS to A03 and then up to A11) 2. After copying kexts (from the above mentioned guide) to /L/E and repairing permission I can't boot into os anymore. The system reboots after graphics artefacts. Do I miss something? I tried various VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext, but without effect. I suppose it depends on the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext, because if I use the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext from the kext package with working stick point, then there is the message "no touchpad found" in preference-->touchpad. Even if there is a Trackpad.kext in plugins. But if I use any other AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext then the stick point doesn't work.

Thank you Bronxteck, after I replaced the keyboard.kext in plugins the keyboard works again and I could login. But I noticed that there is no Trackpad.kext in plugins, so "2" finger scroll doesn't work. After adding the Trackpad.kext 2 finger scroll works, but the stick point doesn't work again. Is there a chance to fix this by another Trackpad.kext? Or do you know another solution I can try?

I tried the kext on my D630, but stick point doesn't work. I noticed that the stick point works with a kext from EDP (Standard ALPS driver - Works in old Models with 2 finger scroll and the track point), but the keyboard doesn't work with the kext.

Hi, I noticed that the stick point works with a kext from EDP (Standard ALPS driver - Works in old Models with 2 finger scroll and the track point), but the keyboard doesn't with the kext. Is there a way to fix this problem?

I also get a smc:ReadKeyAction Error (F0Ac) on shut down. I could fix it by adding the missing key to FakeSMC.kext, but I'm not sure if this is the right way to fix the error. Especially because Hervé don't get this error on his D630. I checked my BIOS setting and updated Chameleon boot loader, didn't work for me. I have a second partion with Mavericks on it. Before I updated and reconfigured EDP I didn't get the error on shut down. Any idea?

1. backup the network kext for E/E after installation 2. install edp, dont restart 3. remove the network kext installed by edp from E/E and past the kext you have save in the first step.

hi harvé, i ve tried the ANV-Slice PS2.kext from edp packet, but trackpoint still doesnt work. could you upload your kext for trackpoint?

i found the option for scrolling and now it works very well. thank you. i've tried several kext for trackpoint, so i don't know wich one is currently installed, but i will try a clean installation with the kext from the first page of this thread and let you know. whats about the biometric reader?

hi @all, this guide helps me to install ml on my d630 wih a few limitations. 1. some apps (xcode form the appstore, upek app for biometric reader, ...) i've installed finished with failed message, but i was able to run them? 2. "two" finger scroll is inverted 3. trackpoint doesn't work. if i install sl with efi_v_1085 boot cd trackpoint works very well, but two finger scoll doesn't work. can i copy some kext files into ml installation to get trackpoint working? 4. biometric reader works, but i cant login with it, only with my password. it would be greate, if i could get this running with your help. thx
