  1. All, haven't been very active lately since I have a bunch of real mac's to take care of... nonetheless, I would not spend a dime on a company that treats (what are supposed to be) customers like this...outrageous. I'm happy to donate ($$$ and/or time) if you decide to move to another software. Am sure we'd find a way to export/transform/import the data
  2. thanks for this - just to clarify: am not exactly computer-illiterate, just a newbie when it comes to fiddle around with kexts (no offense taken ... problem is that there is no change in the loaded kext's on my mac whether the iSight camera is connected or not (cleared the kext cache, rebooted without the camera attached, listed the loaded kexts, attached iSight, confirmed it's working, again listed the loaded kexts... no difference. so here the more precise version of my question: is there a tool that shows or way to find what (physical or logical) device is using what kext(s) ?
  3. Newbie question (sorry): how do i look what particular kext a specific device is using ?
  4. Oh and b.t.w. that's still the case in the current EDP version (Version #4 (Rev: 157)) - maybe we need to change the topic heading ? This used to work fine about a year back, but i don't have a backup from that time to check what graphics driver I used then
  5. yes - on a mac mini with 10.6.8 it did and still does work. iSight is (was) the official apple camera before every machine had it built in.
  6. any update on this - have the same issue on a d420 with isight. Firewire is working with a HD (same cable). if i connect the iSight camera it does nothing... any help i can provide to help us please let me know.
  7. Have the same issue on a D420 with external display. looks like any vertical resolution over a 1000px starts to garble the bottom x% of the screen. it has noting to do with docking/non-docking, internal display on/off, dvi or rgb. please let me know how i can help you guys debug (and fix the issue.
