  1. I remember I once had a card that could receive only channel 1 to 11
  2. Please go to first post, I've updated the links. Yes. Unfortunately, in my D630 Nvidia graphic card is defective.
  3. Fixed bug when loading large kext files, lspci replaced by dspci (by phpdev32) OSX 10.7 to 10.10 Download
  4. I must say, when I switched the cpu I had no thermal paste, so I've used toothpaste. but that's probably not the cause of the low temperature. There are also programs that drive the temperature up. convert videos with ffmpeg for example brings a temperature above 70ºC
  5. In FakeSMC (6.8.1307) I have no CPUMonitor PlugIn kext. Do you mean CPUSensors.kext ? There, the Tjmax value 0 was set. I set it to 105. no major changes in HWMonitor.
  6. I think T7250 and T7500 produced a higher temperature than T8300 I replaced the T7500 in my old D630 with T8300 and the temperature is lower than before. (playing Youtube Video in Firefox - HWMonitor CPU:36ºC GPU:60ºC)
  7. I bought for $15 a D630 with faulty graphics card, with T8300 and 1440 Screen. I installed the screen and the cpu in my old D630 (original 1280 screen and T7500) works very well, and the temperature is lower than before (cpu & gpu) (is it perhaps on the CPU?)
  8. You can test this in a Terminal defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain AppleFontSmoothing -int 2
  9. if you switch from windows to osx it is normal that you see it that way. there is the Font made smooth. after 4 weeks working with OSX you will not notice it.
  10. Since the last Firefox Updates, my GPU temperature in Firefox is much higher than in Safari (+10) I have only 1 Addon in Firefox (Adblock)
  11. open a Finder window then hit SHIFT + COMMAND + G and paste /usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/ifd-ccid.bundle/Contents into the Textfield - and hit ENTER
  12. it does not seem abnormally to me, my temperature is similar with Youtube Videos in Browser the GPU temperature goes up to 75 ºC
  13. did you replace the Extra folder in the D630 folder (on the USB-Stick) before Installation with your own Extra folder? the myhack.kext in /System/Library/Extensions is for a D630, maybe you should delete it? (on the USB-Stick before Installation, or on your installation disk - if you have it already installed)
  14. I have a Verbatim 64GB SSD in my D630 Write : 150 mb/s Read : 253 mb/s
  15. If you will reinstall, You can try the Installer that I have made for my D630 ( NVS 135M) D630 Mavericks Installer
  16. I've created a Mavericks Installer Application for my D630. (I have a D630 Nvidia) Maybe it works for other D630 owners. It could work possibly for other models, if you replace the Extra folder in the D630 folder with your own. (Feedback are welcome, whether it works or not.) Download Unzip it and move or copy the whole folder 'D630Installer' to Applications. You can replace the dsdt in the D630/Extra Folder with your own. Do not change the rest of the folder. You need a 8GB Usb-Stick and the Mavericks Install App from the AppStore. Start the D630Installer.app in the 'D630Installer' folder and follow the instructions on the screen. After making the Stick - copy the folder D630 from /Applications/D630Installer to the Stick. - Download the Post Installer and copy the unzipped App to the Stick (after the completion of the stick you can find on the desktop a file named D630Installer.log, you can read or delete the file.) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When the Installation ask for a Bluetooth Keyboard, just press the spacebar. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - edit: important After Installation is finished, boot from stick, in Chameleon choose your new Installation and type -v -f Run the D630InstallerPost.app from the Stick. Reboot. here is the Installer script, if you wanna change it. on run try -- icon set myicon to "Applications:D630Installer:applet.icns" -- Frage Formatierung display dialog ("Welcome to the D630 17. I have the FakeSMC.kext from the D630 ML Bootpack, Version 4.0
  18. many thanks for this detailed explanation. another question: using 'sudo kextcache --system-prelinked-kernel -arch x86_64' in terminal gives an error message is IntelCPUMonitor needed for HWMonitor?
  19. Yes you can do it, but wait a little bit. I will add a Button for rebuild cache, and a Window that shows System Informations, so you can copy Device ID if needed and paste it to the editor.
  20. I have a similar question. Some kext are both in Extra and myhack.kext/Plugins. Do I need so no extra-folder anymore?
