  1. Dear All, Beta 4 released! Managed to install only after updating my OC and all kext to latest version i.e. 0.6.0 OC Cheers!
  2. Dear All, Managed to install Beta 3. Apparently the installer app downloaded via Software Update is bad. Redownloaded the app via terminal method as mentioned in earlier post.
  3. Dear All, Beta 3 has been released. vsmcgen=1 boot flag is required to boot. So far managed to enter installer but exited premature. Still investigating the problem and will report back.
  4. Hey @eagate I have moved this topic to the right forum
  5. @Juiching Ok. Install latest lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext. Then add -lilubetaall radpg=15 to your boot argument in nvram section. Also dont do any graphics and display related injections.
  6. Hey @Juiching Do you have clover or opencore installed on your real Mac?
  7. Dear all, Finally managed to both update from beta 1 to beta 2 or clean install beta 2 to a new hard disk. I had to run the install app from an existing Mac OS system as my bootpack is still not able to boot a usb installer created using createmediainstall. Bootpack can be obtained from here : https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/10090-gigabyte-h81m-ds2-i3-4330-hd7750-sierra-high-sierra-mojave-catalina-big-sur/ Will investigate this further and report back. Cheers! EDIT 11 July 2020 Alright, managed to boot the usb installer. As @Jake Lo advised, with latest lilu we can omit all those -lilubetaall vsmcgen=1 booter-fileset-kernel booter-fileset-basesystem stuff. Make sure to reset nvram on first boot of the OC and boot the usb installer on reboot. Also looks like "booter-fileset-kernel & booter-fileset-basesystem" need to be remove when booting usb only and 1st stage installation. 2nd stage looks like it still need those to boot. Cheers!
  8. @Max.1974 Do share your experience with us. Which bootloaded did you use? What special config.plist if any? Which kext? Would also be good if you can also share your efi folder here (minus your serial number offcourse) so that others can try. Cheers!
  9. Dear all, Beta 2 has just been released. If u get a stuck progress, you may need to unenrol and reenrol as per posts above. Will update again once installed.
  10. Hi everyone! I finally managed to run macOS Big Sur Beta 1 on my 4th gen desktop hack using the following guide https://www.olarila.com/topic/8977-guide-installrestore-bigsur-with-opencore/. So far cloning from a real Mac installation is the only way to get Big Sur running on a hackintosh as the installer still does not boot from opencore or clover. OpenCore bootpack can be obtained from here: https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/10090-gigabyte-h81m-ds2-i3-4330-hd7750-sierra-high-sierra-mojave-catalina-big-sur/. Will report again once I find a way to boot usb installers. Happy hackintoshing!
  11. Apple announced their new macOS Big Sur in the recent WWDC2020. For those that would like to install without an official apple developer account, @Bronxteck showed me a neat trick as follow:- In terminal type "sudo /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Seeding.framework/Versions/A/Resources/seedutil enroll DeveloperSeed" After a while, software updates should show new macOS beta available for download. Need to make sure that the smbios you are using is a supported model. Otherwise the new beta will not appear in software updates. To create an install USB, in terminal type "sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/target" Will post more once I get macOS Big Sur up and running! EDIT 11 JULY 2020 I found a cool script from IM that will download the latest beta installer from Apple. Post link is as follow: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/344428-pre-release-macos-big-sur/?page=15 (scroll down to crazybird post) Script link is as follow: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=352544 (need to be a member to download) Cheers!
  12. Hey @orzech Check out my guide at :- Come back here if they are still issues. Cheers!
  13. Dear All, Moved the installation guide including clover bootpacks to the Installation Guide forum as follow:- This thread shall remain for help and support. Cheer!
  14. Dear All, Clover bootpack for Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 uploaded. Forum link for installation guide and clover bootpack is in the first post. Lets me know if it works for you. Still testing the bootpack and will update release notes as it goes.
  15. Oh I forgot to mention that if I dont disable igpu and use dgpu, it causes video playback in chrome to be jibrish and iTunes video playback to freeze the desktop. so i guess it creates other issues also. By having both activated.
