  1. Hello. Unfortunately, 2 months ago my SSD failed, along with my entire EFI folder and everything. After replacing the SSD I installed Windows, thinking it would be fine for a while, but so far so good. Perhaps someone could send me a working EFI folder for a relatively recent system? (Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to make one from scratch) Thanks in advance for all your help!!! Laptop: Dell E7440, CPU: i7 Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  2. Thank you very much! That solved my problem. I'm still trying to upgrade from 0.7.4 to 0.7.5, but I think it will be better. This EFI is much prettier and more compiled than I have ever used! Thanks!
  3. This is what the "SysInfo-> Hardware-> USB" section currently looks like for me. Unfortunately, my English is quite incomplete, so the system part was just a bad wording. Truth be told, I don't understand the ACPI part, so I don't know what the "ECDV to EC" part means. I don't understand ACPI so much that I'm always afraid to reach out someday ... Could you please provide some help, even a tutorial link on how to get started regenerating "USBPorts_E7440"?
  4. Hi there. Not so long ago, I was able to upgrade MacOS from Big Sur to Monterey. However, I only noticed today when I wanted to use Microsoft Teams that I couldn’t see my camera. I also tried FaceTime but unfortunately it doesn't see either. I checked it in the system settings and there the camera is enabled for all applications, so this is not the problem, but the system itself is not shutting down the camera. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? (I have attached my currently used EFi) EFI.7z
  5. Thank you very, very much for your help! Eventually I had a hard time (due to my incomplete English knowledge) understanding what to do and the update went perfectly! Finally, even after the update, even Bluetooth works perfectly !!!
  6. I just made the exchange. For now, everything is going the way you said, I no longer see Bluetooth under Big Sur. Now I do a Clonezilla backup and then I try an update. For now, do I understand that I don't have access to Bluetooth under Monterey? (Thank you for your help so far!!!)
  7. Unfortunately, I need some more help. The update went smoothly, but when the laptop tried to turn on while the system was loading, the status bar stopped at half load and did not continue. I suspect something is wrong with EFI, but since the system is not loading so I can't turn on text boot mode. Does anyone have any tips on what I'm going to ruin?
  8. You've already found it and it's already charging down! Thank you very much.
  9. Hi there. MacOS Big Sur 11.6.1 is currently installed on Dell E7440 i7. I wanted to upgrade to macOS Monterey, but when I try to check for an update it says macOS Monterey is not found. Not sure what the problem might be? I don't know if this may be necessary, but for security reasons, I have attached my EFI. Thanks in advance for the answers !!! Dell-E7440-EFI.7z
  10. Now I have also attached version v0.7.5 as an attachment. In reality, I did nothing else, just replace the necessary files in EFi and then replace the kexts that the OpenCore Configurator found a newer version of. Maybe I should have done something else? Dell-E7440-EFI-v0.7.5.7z
  11. Hello, I'm using macOS BigSur. I upgraded from OC v0.7.3 to v0.7.5. Along with that, I also updated the kexts below. Lilu from v1.5.6 to v1.5.7 WhateverGreen v1.5.3 to v1.5.5 AppleALC v1.6.4 to v1.6.6 Unfortunately, after the update, it doesn't matter what browser I'm looking at, e.g. On YouTube, videos don’t start, they just spin and spin, but they don’t move. Maybe there is something I should have set up in OC? (I attached my EFI v0.7.3 as an attachment) Thank you in advance for your help! Balázs Dell-E7440-EFI-v0.7.3.7z
  12. Ohh! Super! Thank you very much!!! Operate
  13. OR Binary Data and drivers are also the latest
  14. Hello, I wanted to add a GUI to OpenCore 0.7.3 because so far I've only used normal text boot. I read the guide on the OC website, and in many other places, but unfortunately I do everything in the way it is given, only the old text interface still appears at boot. Could you help me possibly what the problem might be? I attached two pictures to see if it turns out ... Thanks for the help!
  15. In the meantime, it has already been revealed that the bug is when upgrading from v0.7.2 to v0.7.3, but I don't know yet what ...
  16. Unfortunately, my English is pretty incomplete, but I’m trying to peel something out of it. Thank you very much for your help!
  17. I just tried. The attached photo shows the result. (hope to read)
  18. Hi there. On a Dell E7440 i7, I use the attached EFI with OC v0.6.8 and BigSur 11.5.2. They are not updating anything lately. But I wanted to yesterday. I updated the OC folder structure to v0.7.3 and updated the kexts with an OC configurator. Unfortunately, after a reboot, only the apple logo lights up and does not proceed. Could someone help me with what could be this mistake? How can I find out what the problem is? In the Clover Configurator there was an option to write out what was finally at boot time during the book, can you have this option here as well? Could someone possibly help with what could be the mistake? Thanks in advance for all the help! Dell-E7440-i7-EFI.7z
  19. Resolved. If someone has a similar problem, try the following: Since it turned out that when I disconnect from the internet, approx. half a minute later, the CPU load disappears. So I tried to sign out of my Apple ID, restart my computer, and then sign in again with my Apple ID. Then the CPU overload disappeared ...
  20. Hi, I followed JakeLo's guide here and Big Sur now works perfectly with OC. There is only one problem. The CPU is almost 100% loaded even when it is completely idle. I had not experienced such a problem under Catalina before. Anyone have any tips on what the problem might be? Balázs
  21. Hi. Although I experienced this problem too, unfortunately the trackpad didn't work for me either, so I started to delete the kexts that I haven't used during the clover so far and watched when a change happens. When I realized the mistake, I could only laugh at it! : D Solution: Delete "SMCDellSensors.kext" from "config.plist / Kernel" and it will work!
