  1. Hi guys. The model name 'Samsung RF11/RF511/RF711' are actually 3 different notebooks of the same series with different screen sizes, GPU and some other specs, so DSDT and other kexts/config will be slightly different. I recommend changing it to just 'Samsung RF411'.
  2. Re-uploaded correct plist files. I have assigned 3 finger swipe up to Mission Control, 3 finger swipe down to Minimise Window, 3 finger swipe left to Right Space, 3 finger swipe right to Left Space (last 2 is to follow 'natural' gestures on a real Mac). However, 3 finger gestures are not working, and I have to use 4 fingers for each of these gestures. But I have NOT assigned anything to 4 finger gestures. All are at default values of 0 in the plist. Should I disable 4 finger? Or what should I do? Infoplist_Files SRSR333.zip
  3. Here are both plist files, from the PS2Controller kext and TouchPad kext as well. Infoplist Files_SRSR333.zip
  4. I've remapped my fn keys to the keyboard layout shown below. However many of the mapped functions don't work, like brightness adjustment. I can only adjust volume with the left/right arrow keys. I'm using the 2.7.5 version of the kext, and the ApplePS2Controller included. I'm using Mode 1. Also, my 3 finger swipe mappings in the Touchpad kext also don't work. I have to use 4 fingers... Please help to fix! I have touchpad v3... Picture below for full keyboard:
  5. I have v3 of the Elan touchpad... One more problem. The mapping of the fn shortcut keys are not correct. The brightness shortcut that is printed on the keyboard is fn + up arrow(increase brightness) and fn + down arrow(decrease brightness). This doesn't work at all, and the brightness keys are instead mapped to fn + f12(decrease brightness) and fn + Pause/Break(increase brightness). What's wrong? And thanks for replying. I really like your driver, and have been using it since v1.2, from tonycrapx86. Great job and keep it up!
  6. GREAT job. Version 2.6 has been a great improvement over v2.1.3, and I love the inertial scrolling. However, I only have one problem, in that tapping to click takes a while to register, and there's a slight delay between the tapping and the animations on the screen. Also, sometimes a single finger tap is registered as a double finger tap, which randomly brings up the context menu. And also, double finger tapping is registered as a double finger scroll action. Help with this if possible, thanks a lot.
  7. Hi, I tried to attempt your HDMI Audio patch Intel HD 3000 for DSDT, but when loading the DSDT I get a kernel panic. What's the problem here? I only edited the GFX0 and HDEF devices' _DSM methods. Original DSDT and edited DSDT causing kernel panic Please try to help if you can!
  8. Hey EMlyDinEsH, thanks for the reply. I couldn't reply for the last 3 weeks because of exams, was busy with studies. I would like the codec verbs and path maps if possible. Sorry for the late reply. Just a note: I think there's something wrong with the DSDT, as it has a .dsl extension, but its only about 30kB...
  9. Hey EMlyDinEsH, I was trying to follow your guide to patch AppleHDA for my Samsung notebook, but I don't know what went wrong. I'm getting no output... And I can't follow the guide too much as its really complicated (or maybe its just me). Can you help me patch AppleHDA and my DSDT for Mountain Lion 10.8.3" Thanks! Attached are DSDT and codec dump... codec_dump.txt SRSR333_DSDT.zip
  10. Hey guys. I just installed the latest v2.1.3 driver on my Samsung RF411. However, the mouse pointer lags a little here and there, and when I go to Console to see what's going on, I see things like "Elan: Returned from rotate 1" or "Elan: Returned from Rotate 2". Furthermore, I don't have inertial scrolling... Please help. Thanks

Hey guys. This is my intro thread. Firstly, I'm only a teenager, born in India, but have lived almost my whole life in Singapore. This is to clear assumptions that I'm a major. (So please treat me well... Haha! ) I've been using a hackintosh since around May-June 2011. What triggered my interest? My old 2007 white MacBook got smashed, and I just loved (Mac) OS X too much, so I looked on the internet for ways to install OS X on my new Samsung notebook which I had just received as a gift. The only PROPER hackintosh I've ever owned is a notebook, so most of my experiences are from that. I've made complete, fully stable builds of both Lion and Mountain Lion, and I'm still tinkering. I can fix a kernel panic on my system, given that I know what I did just before, like install kexts or mess with other essential system files. I began at the Tony mac x86 forum (I know discussion of that place is banned here, this is my first and last time mentioning that place), using first iboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded), then Uni Beast. Then, a few months ago, I noticed myHack. I realised that although a little obscure, it's actually far better. So I plan on moving over here. As stated before, I can fix a kernel panic on my hackintosh, on the condition that I know what I or someone else did just before that happened. I do know a little programming, in Java, and I'm currently learning Objective-C for iOS app development. I also am quite good with the admin tools in Windows. I think I can contribute here, by mostly helping other new notebook hackintoshers set up their systems for OS X, and setup OS X itself. I don't own a custom built desktop, so I can't aid there. Thanks..
