Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 19, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 19, 2017 so remove those files again and video is back to normal? What version of BIOS are you running? Can you export the raw files so I could create a new bootpack for Sierra.
npolite
I'm on A09 and the current is A12. Should I upgrade first and try again? I ran a script to try to get my DW1702 wireless card working and it broke the O/S again. I'm going to rebuild again since I have no idea what it did and dump the Clover folder for you. Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 19, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 19, 2017 Yes, upgrade to the latest before dumping the files.
npolite
Attached is the EFI folder after I updated the BIOS to A12. I also noticed issue with the mouse being all choppy for the first 30 seconds in the O/S. I have an SSD so there shouldn't be any lag like that. Not sure if I am missing any other kexts. Thanks again for the help. Once we have the sound issue resolved I need to look at my DW1702 wifi card not working. EFI.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2017 You didn't select F4 during Clover boot, Origin folder is empty. Run that and attach only Origin folder The mouse choppy could be due to non use connectors, which could be disabled. So will need to determine what physical port the system has. Does it have HDMI port, VGA port and / or display port. Have the HDMI or DP connected and launch IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip Save and attach the file here. npolite
Sorry I am noob a this. Attached are the files. HDMI seems to be working. I also plugged in an SD card but I know most of those don't work. Only thing else I can think of is the Wifi not working at the moment that could be causing the issue with the jitter of the mouse. 3542_IO.zip Origin.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2017 Does it have HDMI port, VGA port and / or display port? Not sure what SD card reader it has, post the Status and PCI list screenshot here with this DPCIManager https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpcimanager/ The IOReg was not created with the version of IORegistryExplorer I linked, so it's showing being corrupted. What version were you using to export? Nevermind, looks like version 3.0.
npolite
It just has the HDMI port which seems to be working. Didn't test sound out of the HDMI though. No display port or VGA port. npolite
Sorry I thought this was for the SD card. I really don't mind if that doesn't work. Screenshots attached.
