dpeixinho0
Finally I managed to install the macOS !!!! I really appreciate your help !!! However, I have a small problem. I have an iMac 2008 that burned, and I ended up getting his WiFi card and put it on Dell, but the system does not recognize it. I already tested it on Windows and I recognize it. To recognize I would have to install some Kext? The model of the board is BCM94321MC. And again, thank you very much for the help !!!!!
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 12, 2018 If a card from a real Mac is not working OOB, then it might be whitelisted / or no longer supported. You could try Lilu.kext + AirportBrcmFixup.kext
Administrators Hervé Posted July 12, 2018 Administrators Share Posted July 12, 2018 Support for ancient Broadcom BCM94321/BCM4321 was dropped in Sierra. Replace it by a supported model!
dpeixinho0
Hello. if I install El Capitan on my Dell, will it recognize the card? On the iMac I was running El Capitan and it worked perfectly.
Administrators Hervé Posted July 13, 2018 Administrators Share Posted July 13, 2018 Obviously yes, but why not simply swap the card for a supported model sin ce you already have High Sierra running? It's not as if wireless cards were expensive...
dpeixinho0
The problem is not the price of the plate. The problem is that here in Brazil we do not have compatible cards sold in the market, only assembled in other countries (eBay), and the Brazilian system of order delivery is a drug. Often international orders take 6 months !!!! You can not expect all this. Unfortunately we live this sad reality.
