Guest
@Allan I have attached it below;@Jake Lo High Sierra drains battery faster than Sierra, what can be the issue? I havent installed any heavy apps. This laptop has two big batteries. Max runs for 2.5 hours tops. Should do 5-6. Thank you! CLOVER.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2018 If you're going to use SSDT.am from ssdtPRGen.sh, you should disable PluginType in the Config file, they are mutually exclusive. Then generate a new one for 10.13.6, current one in your Patched folder is for 10.12.6. If you're going leave PluginType enabled, then remove SSDT.aml. Guest
@Jake Lo I'm confused, what is this PluginType related to? Battery? What's best for me? I should follow above instructions?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2018 Yes, for power management. Try remove SSDT.aml first. If still draining, then try generate new SSDT.aml. In Config file, disable Plugintype in ACPI
Guest
@Jake Lo Okay I’ll try it and will post result. For now This is what i have recorded; My Laptop on battery (10%0-8%), Took 2 Hours and 5 Mins. When Plugged In; Battery (8% - 68%), Took 1 Hour and 53 Mins. Between this time I was just copying files from My External Drive. And I did System Sca as well with my Anti virus while I was on charge. Ill try the Plugin type thing after its charged! Thank You! Guest
@Jake Lo @Allan Sorry for updating late, I tried the following: First disabling PluginType and Using SSDT.aml (Older One), couldn't notice a difference. Enabling PluginType and removing SSDT.aml, couldn't notice a difference. Generating a new SSDT.aml with SSDTGEN, will test out this now. The problem which still remain is that the Laptop takes ages to charge full. Please help.
