mefflecakes Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Here's a video of the issue: The short version is that it doesn't always light up when pressed and is hard to tell if caps lock is actually on. I took my drive out of this e7470 and put it in another to check if it's hardware or software and the issue persisted on the other laptop. Is this a known issue? You could try VoodooPS2Controller or ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext but you might lose scrolling and various features since they don't support Alps touchpad.
