mcintosh
I have a E7270 Ultrabook running 10.13.6 the system is partially working. Touchscreen works, no sound, no graphics acceleration. I have tried multiple kexts for acceleration and none are working. What needs to be done if I just want to get graphics acceleration working? No luck so far. Its a 2.5GHz i5 6300U model with the 13" 1080P touch panel.
Administrators Hervé Posted August 14, 2018 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2018 Skylake i5-6300U carries Intel HD 520 graphics. You don't need any add-on kexts, forget that; it's plain wrong. What you need is to setup Clover graphics for Inject Intel + adequate SKL layout-id 0x19160000. Also make sure to select an appropriate SMBIOS profile such as MacBookPro13,x. I also strongly recommend you read up all existing E7x70 threads and guides that will undoubtedly provide you with invaluable info.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 14, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2018 No need to reinvent the wheel, already a working bootpack here, just need to choose the right one. replace the contents into /EFI/Clover
mcintosh
Jake I have tried the 7270 bootpack and it gives a kernel panic which I can't seem to figure out. Where are the logs kept for it so I can paste?
