Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 30, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 30, 2019 You need to determine if your system has eDP or LVDS. Seems if eDP, you won't be able to get full graphics acceleration even though eDP is suppose to be supported in the new MacOS. This issue has been covered a few times before for this model. Hackintosh_HD
Okay, thank you. I looked up earlier threads talking about this issue to get more information on how I can determine this. Ultimately I booted into Windows and opened Intel Graphics Control Panel to check... Looks like display connector type is eDP. What should I do in regards to running macOS on this machine moving forward? Do i have to set the FakeID & PlatformID in Clover options with every boot? Or is it not worthwhile/recommended to run macOS on a machine without full graphics acceleration?
Administrators Hervé Posted April 1, 2019 Administrators Share Posted April 1, 2019 It's useless without graphics acceleration.
