denkteich
Hi, I got me an E5580. Is there a bootpack for Mojave for an E5580? I tried the HS Bootpack, which doesn't work. TIA .d

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 20, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2019 If you pause at about 1/4 off the video you'll see that it KP with the Kabylake Framebuffer. Boot with this arg until you finish installation, then you should be able to boot normally. There are patches already in place to fix the issue but it needs the kexts to be cached in order to patch it on the fly. So boot with -igfxvesa
denkteich
It booted with the igfxvesa argument. But it came up searching for a bluetooth mouse. i deleted the voodoops2mouse and trackpad, added the appleps2controller kext. Now it is booting into the language selection, but i still have no mouse and keyboard. Clover folder is attached. CLOVER.zip
denkteich
Hi Jake, I used the files and hot patches from this thread: it's booting, but still no internal keyboard and mouse. USB keyboard/Mouse is working. Any suggestion how to get the internals to work? TIA .d

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 21, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2019 Replace ApplePS2Controller and replace it with VoodooPS2Controller by Rehabman. Upgrade VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID to the latest and move them to /Library/Extensions Repair permissions and rebuild cache Reboot
