I followed these steps: Deleted the folder drivers64UEFI Installed the most recent version of Clover with the above-mentioned settings. Restarted my computer. WIFI still visible, but still not able to turn it on.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2019 As far as I can tell, there's no physical on/off switch on the E7x50 model for wifi, other than Fn+PrtScr but that's only for Windows. Check your BIOS to see if it's enabled. Try toggling it on and off. If you have Windows dual booting, verify if it's working in Windows, you might have a dud. grouchy
Hey! Thanks for everyone's help. I found a solution for my problem. #1 I updated clover and did all the stuff Jake Lo mentioned. #2 Removed FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext from the EFI partition #3 Moved AirportBrcmFixup.kext and lilu.kext to L/E/ #4 Rebuild kext cache Now wifi and bluetooth are working. However not sure if BT was working previously since I mainly focused on getting wifi to work.
