No need to download. IORegistryExplorer found at /Applications/IORegistryExplorer.app Verifying if correct version of IORegistryExplorer is installed. This version of IORegistryExplorer is not recommended. Removing conflicting version. Checking connectivity.. Using custom test url: github.com Unable to connect to the internet. Aborted. First tried the attached version following the readme.md file. Then I also tried downloading 3.0.2 version, same response.
vostro3446hac
Is there any alternative to this script in order to generate debug files?
vostro3446hac
Hi @Jake Lo tried to make the script work and fixed it by bypassing the internet check. Here's the debug files. debug_23051.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 28, 2019 Moderators Share Posted December 28, 2019 You have an Nvidia card that needs disabling. Add this to /E/C/ACPI/Patched SSDT-Disable-DGPU.aml.zip
vostro3446hac
Thank you so much for responding. Added the aml file to patched folder. Couldn't notice any difference. Trackpad sometimes detects in system settings but doesn't work at all. Behaviour of the brightness hotkeys are same as earlier. When I press F11/F12 (Hotkeys for Brightness -/+), the brightness icon and bar acts if the key has been long pressed (for example keeps increasing brightness unless I immediately press Brightness -). However, both the keys never work after used once (in one boot). Also, microphone doesn't work. Audio works perfectly. Sound hotkeys also work normal. Should I post new debug files? vostro3446hac
Hi @Jake Lo, Am I doing something wrong? Is there something wrong with the debug files? Please tell me.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 8, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 8, 2020 from the new debug file, it looks like the discrete graphics is now disabled which should extend battery life brightness looks good too, so can't under why the controller is not working properly. Try switching Voodoops2Controller kext with this
vostro3446hac
If I use this kext then keyboard and track pad both doesn't work. I mapped brightness hotkeys to other keys and now it works perfectly. But, I can't seem to find any solution for the internal card reader. Is there any?
