acquarius.13
The original device name in original DSDT.aml is still EC0 (searching for PNP0C09), so no change occurred in Embedded Controller name with bios 01.11.01. Any other possibilities?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 4, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2020 Try booting without the SSDT* in the patched folder by going into Option at boot
acquarius.13
Into Option, at boot, there was only 1 OEM SSDT flagged. The patched ones were not flagged, so I supposed they were not in use. Disabling the OEM SSDT the system still freezes at the same time. Now I revert to 01.09.01, because it seems to be the only way to have macOS running on this machine
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2020 If you mean flagged as in checked, that means it's been dropped...hence table droppings. You should try dropping these 3 patches: SSDT-4x0G4k, SSDT-FANREAD, and SSDT-IGPU. I would probably drop the 1st one 1st
acquarius.13
No way guys: dropping those 3 tables during boot doesn't solve any problem with bios 01.11.01. I start thinking about leaving the older bios to have macOS..even if it hurts to me a bit
acquarius.13
If I upgrade VoodooPS2Controller from 1.9.2 to 2.1.5 (latest), I see this difference in booting error. Now I try to substitute the VoodooPS2Controller with ApplePS2Controller (published here for dell laptops) that I use in E7450 and see what happens EDIT: And this is the freezing whilst using ApplePS2Controller

acquarius.13
The origin folder related to bios 01.09.01 is attached to post #3 (the debug zip file). The origin folder related to bios 01.11.01 is linked here. Hope you will find some differences
acquarius.13
Hi guys, I tried (from windows) to remove the VoodooPS2Controller and to put into k/o folder the VoodooI2C.kext, VoodooI2CHID.kext and VoodooI2CSynaptics.kext (latest version, 2.4.3) since I have a I2C HID Synaptics touchpad. Boot freezed at this position. Could this be helpful?
