utendar
I created a new thread since I started over on my build, only this time using Monterey. Everything went through smoothly but once again, no trackpad and the fixes I applied when using Big Sur is no longer working. I'm also using a newer kext (AlpsHID) per Opencore 7.4 instruction. Please assist, thank you.

utendar
Thanks Jake, got error "OC: Grabbed zero system-id for SB, this is not allowed" Also something strange, I'm trying to boot off of a USB stick and after selecting EFI I get a black screen. I tried and recreate the boot disk with Monterey and same thing.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 4, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 4, 2021 Just noticed your Drivers folder and config file only has OpenRuntime.efi. You'll need HFSPlus.efi on both
utendar
Adding HFSPlus.efi allowed USB to boot; thanks! The error "OC: Grabbed zero system-id for SB, this is not allowed" persists though, when using your EFI folder.
