Administrators Hervé Posted September 12, 2022 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2022 You were told about HDMI-to-VGA adapter last week. The same principles will apply to any VGA adapters, whether DP or DVI: they need to be active to convert digital signal to analog. Passive adapters just won't do. donjave
I am using an active adaptor I am able to go into the installation using one of the EFI's I created it goes on with the first phase of installation and during the second phase it just reboots continuously, I also tried a HDMI projector and the results are the same no matter what, I'm pretty sure its not the adaptor its been ruled out, something to do with framebuffer patching which I have no idea, maybe something else but thanks for responding
Administrators Hervé Posted September 12, 2022 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2022 I don't believe your remaining issue is graphics related but if you believe so, you may try and boot in VESA mode and see if you reach macOS desktop, albeit without graphics acceleration of course.
