Lost-Entrepreneur439
I have an Acer Aspire TC-780, I've tried to hackintosh it on both Monterey and Ventura, however after the verbose on both of them, my screen just goes to no signal. On Monterey, I tried using the "-igfxvesa" bootarg to force it to use VESA mode, which did allow the system to boot and for me to install macOS, but obviously, I don't want to use macOS with no GPU accel. Anyone know how I can fix this? Preferably I want to fix it on Monterey since that is what's currently installed on the HDD. My EFI is attached. Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 23, 2023 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2023 Is there an option in the BIOS to set DVMT to 64MB? if not, then you could patch it by adding to the config file framebuffer-fbmem = 00009000 (data) framebuffer-stolenmem = 00003001 (data)
