Pls refine the kext for Sierra, trackpad scroll too fast. setting is rollbacked after reboot, right click area is too tiny at the very right bottom of the trackpad. One right click is repeated 3 times

HI there, thanks for all of the work...

Any ideas how I can change the Keyboard type to a German keyboard?  I can't get the AltGr key to work , which means no @ symbol on a German Keyboard and a few other things....

Hey, I'm new here,

I had never problems with synaptic trackpad and the voodops2 kext.,

 

now I have a new notebook with a elan trackpad.

 

I had used ioio to setup my trackpad:

 

ioio -s ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad Clicking 1

ioio -s ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad Dragging 1
ioio -s ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad TrackpadRightClick 1
ioio -s ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad DragLock 1

 

 

So yet I don't know how I can enable one and two finger tap for click and right click, I don't like to click.. I prefer tapping,, 

perhaps someone can help me? Best Regards,

 

​So Also I don't understand at the link to the prefpane how I can set it up, that my settings will be loaded at boot up...

You should change it with "ioio -s ApplePS2SmartTouchPad Clicking 1"

 

To get your settings loaded at startup, you need to make an .sh file with all your ioio script needed. And also make a launchdaemon .plist file to autoload it on startup

 

Edit:

The services name is CASE sensitive, so it should be 'ApplePS2SmartTouchpad'.

'ApplePS2SmartTouchPad' won't work

I tried out like fifteen Kexts to get my Touchpad to work and not one of them worked.

Now I try yours and everything works incredibly good!

Sorry, my fault, it's CASE sensitive. So it should be:

ApplePS2SmartTouchpad, not

ApplePS2SmartTouchPad

Hi guys

I have a small problem with my Asus. I have completed the installation and I was able to recognize all devices (with exception of Wifi which is not compatible) with the exception of the touchpad.

Currently I use a version of VoodooPS2 with which however it works only the keyboard. Attached insert my Darwin so that we can bring to show the devices.
