tryit
@Herve, could you please advise? I'm still running the latest version of Monterey (12.7.6), and I've noticed that Bluetooth no longer works. The Bluetooth toggle can be turned on, but the status always shows Off. I'm not sure when this started because I rarely use Bluetooth. My Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card is an Intel 8260NGW. I tested it for more than four years, starting with the out-of-the-box Monterey installation following your E7270 guide (I don't remember which Monterey version). Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth worked flawlessly . I do not remember if I changed and added kext or patched In System Report, I see the following: Bluetooth Controller: Address: NULL State: Off Chipset: BCM_4350C2 Discoverable: Off Firmware Version: v0 c0 Product ID: 0x0001 Supported services: 0x382039 < HFP AVRCP A2DP HID Braille AACP GATT Serial > Transport: UART I am trying boot with a fresh downloaded EFI , and have no luck too. Thank you
Administrators Hervé Posted 1 hour ago Administrators Share Posted 1 hour ago Hi @tryit, I fear it's going to be much difficult to provide assistance without knowing if Bluetooth stopped working all of a sudden without you making any changes (in which case you could suspect a hardware failure) or after changes you made. In the latter case, only you can provide the necessary info. No EFI, no bootloader config file, ... I've not crystal ball you know... If you see the device in IOReg, it can only be your setup.
