dziwei
after downloading and installing before restart a window pops up and reports 'unable to update' or something similar... after restart, running EDP and installing keyboard & mouse kexts AND running myfix again, the About This Mac reports the version as 10.8.3 is this normal? is there another way to verify that the update was completed? thanks! Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 4, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 4, 2013 yup it's normal on that model. why ... no clue probably has to do with not having a recovery partition.
dziwei
tnx for the reply! so ya think that it actually is fully updated and the message is like a glitch?
Administrators Hervé Posted April 4, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 4, 2013 The message is probably a "failed installation" actually. I wouldn't call that "normal" per se, but yes, it's a known false alarm since 1st ML release... It's been mentioned in the following threads: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2258-1083-update/ https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1852-1082-update/ https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1621-installed-108-on-d630-nvidia/
