bjornan
I created my 10.7.0 installation disk from my MacBook, using myHack 3.2 BETA 8 and bootpack for Dell Latitude D620, Intel GMA950 graphics (1440x900). Plain, simple. BIOS settings as recommended. First boot on D620 gave me kernel panic. Debug message mentioning AppleEFIRuntime and AppleNVRAM (resides in AppleEFIRuntime). Deleted AppleEFIRuntime.kext from /System/Library/Extensions on install disk, problem resolved. Posting this in case someone else is banging their heads on the wall. Thanks for the great work. bbarenti
Bjorn, My wall would like to thank you. I am no longer beating my head against it. I've been trying for days, and all I needed to do was remove one file. Thanks for the help! FYI: I started a topic for my problem, and your post was referenced. go4giraffe
Posting this in case someone else is banging their heads on the wall. Thanks soo much. Not sure if this is the "proper" way to get the ball rolling, but it works. I guess legacy hardware's not looked at as much when people update stuff. Administrators Hervé Posted August 5, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 5, 2013 The fix is to update the myHack USB installer with Chameleon r2248 or above and no longer use myHack's default Cham bootloader.
