ssprod
Greetings, so glad to hear this site is still up, active and supportive. Just picked up a D630/A15bios/QuadroNVS 135M graphics. Used the same USB Pen that I installed on my D430 2 months ago, just changed the removed the DSDT and replaced with the Quadro DSDT from here. Kernel panics almost immediately. Any thoughts? Thanks. ssprod
Hey Leon, thanks for the quick reply. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I didn't install the RC to the pen. I worked it out by running the original slice CD, installed 10.6, upped to 10.6.7 then installed the 1.7 RC. All is working well. Just wondering why the USB Pen kp'd. I made sure to put the DSDT on it. Thx . ssprod

Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 23, 2011 Administrators Share Posted April 23, 2011 your issue was probably the kext for video. D430 has different graphics then D630. so you needed a "new cache build" for D630.
